We carry the best selection of vaporizers, pipes, and tobacco accessories!!!!!

Went there for a girls night out last weekend and had a great time and delicious dinner. Many got the fish tacos, I got the tuna special, another got a bison burger and not one issue, it was yummy! The live music later in the evening was acoustic and added to the nice atmosphere. Seems to have a bit of everything and the staff was very nice. Look forward to another evening back!

We were planning a nice dinner with customers of mine this past Saturday evening. The place next door was packed and we had a bit of a wait...so, we saw an acoustical singer next door at Athena's....thought we'd check it out. What a treat! The place was friendly and welcoming--even have a pool table and private lounge area. The owners made us feel like we were VIP's...they were incredibly friendly and made an AWESOME drink for my customer, who couldn't decide what to have...it was called the ""Mean Athena""!! She loved it. After dinner we decided to go back for an after dinner drink....the dj was setting up and he played a mix of new with old....had a ball!! Thanks to Peter and Athena for showing us the best part of dinner---service at the restaurant was both slow and unfriendly. We gave Athena's and A and Tupelo Honey a C-. See my review on that if you are interested. This will become a place we stop in at each time we visit Asheville!! As for the drug use some other reviewer mentioned, we saw NONE of that and am actually offended by that comment. These two owners shared with us the difficulties of running a bar and having twins at home....these are just two Americans trying to make it in a tough economy!! Loved the place and drinks were both affordable and well poured....reminded us a little of New Orleans!!

Loved your New Years Eve Party!!
8.Lexington Avenue Brewery
39 N Lexington Ave
The food is good and very large portions. The salads are huge! We did not like the seat yourself policy, because it was very crowded and you had to hover over other guests while waiting to take their table after they finished.
9.Jack of the Wood
95 Patton Ave
In Asheville on vacation, and this was our first dinner in town. I was aiming for any place that had a good beer assortment, and this won partially based on the fact that it was visible from our hotel and we wouldn't get too lost. It was a good choice. The house porter was fantastic, and they also had a small but discerning Scotch and whisky list. The Ploughman's Lunch from the appetizer menu was the most amazing combo of flavors, and quite filling in it's own right. We also tried the Scotch eggs, because, well, why wouldn't we? Too rich and fatty to be a dietary staple, but damn fine for a vacation treat. We split the Shepherd's Pie, also delicious, though husband thought it could have been bigger. I thought it was nicely sized, enough to finish without feeling overly full. Ambiance was nice - dark with some corners but not really dive-y. We missed out on the music, can't speak to that particular attraction.
10.Wicked Weed Brewing
91 Biltmore Ave
Small plates were great for splitting! Beer selection was fantastic as was the wine. A little formal for a tap room, but would be good for dining with some local flavor.
777 Haywood Rd
This was the sort of place we immediately felt at home in. Pool tables off to one side, a great bar/beer selection. The menu was more varied than your average bar food. I had the shrimp and grits special, which was awesome. Husband ended up with a southwest-y chicken wrap. Not actually what he ordered, but looked so good once it came out that he went with it. The very apologetic waitress comped it too. She let me sample a beer in question before committing to a whole pint, which was really nice. They had a great back patio too. If I lived here, this is a place I would hang out a lot.
12.The Orange Peel
101 Biltmore Ave
The Orange Peel is a great venue to catch a favorite singer/band. They attract many big name artists, but without the impersonal feel of a larger coliseum. The prices of tickets are always within reason. Check it out!
13.Green Man Brewing Co
27 Buxton Ave
30 Town Square Blvd Ste 100
Honestly this place is a great place to eat. ive enjoyed my meal and staff every visit and i go every time we go to the movies. I would say the other two rewiews are seriously inaccurate and you should make your own openion. Great to watch the games as well!!!
92 Patton Ave
great find for hanging out with friends enjoying some great beer! love the steak frites too
16.Santé Wine Bar and Tap Room
1 Page Ave. Ste 146/152,
I don't drink a lot of wines but when I want a ladies night out and find that one wine I adore so much, this is the place to go. My wine of choice is a good German Riesling. I typically pair it with their pesto dip and only spend about $10. They offer outdoor seating (which is FAB!) as well as indoor seating. Be wary of hours though, they typically don't open until 4pm.

17.Vanuatu Kava Bar
15 Eagle St
Well, first of all, Kava tastes like mud. it is a terrible earthy taste, and it numbs your tongue, but apparently it gets you drunk. i did not get drunk. The people are nice, and i really like the atmosphere
18.Rankin Vault Cocktail Lounge
7 Rankin Ave
Hardly any room inside, so we sat out on the patio. The problem with that is people smoke outside and my friend is really bothered my smoke. Everything is ordered through the bar, including the food. The line at the bar was rediculously long the whole time. The told us we could order at the side window for the patio, but it was closed and no one ever waited on it. The cucumber martini was really good, though.
19.Twisted Laurel Eatery & Lounge
130 College St
Nice atmosphere, staff friendly, clean facility, not consistent with food quality/portion. Great drink specials.
20.Best Operations Inc
6 Roberts Rd Ste 104
This company in no way at all cares for their employees. They hold in complete disregard to employment laws regarding workers and demand that their employees work off the clock, as well as fire an employee if they do not wish to come back from break early. I myself was a manager and was terminated by this lawless company due to the fact that i did not know i couldnt go across the street to get something to drink due to a long night the day before. I left the store in the capable hands of one of my crew trainers for not even 2 minutes. I even got invited to a christmas party for the company where they gave me new uniforms not even a week before they termed me. On top of this lawlessness and disregard to their employees the stores are not clean the food is not ever held to standard they refreeze food that has thawed and its just a gross negligence of health sanitation policies. Eat there at your own risk!!!
401 Haywood Rd
Was so looking forward to like a year ago, noww could really care less. that kevin guy is doing the business no service by running his mouth. give it up, no one cares.
22.Hopey & Co
121 Sweeten Creek Rd
They do have good prices but its at a price. They have cosmetics and medicines with the box taped up. I bought deodorant there three times in a row and each time the knob wouldn't work making it useless after a few days. I bought Canned fruit and when I opened it the fruit was unidentifiable. It was off white and pinkish and didnt have a taste. It expired 3 years earlier. They sell so called certified organic beef but when I called the farm that the beef came from and they said that no it's not but that hopey and co. Put the label on. I contacted hopey and co and soon after they were crossing out the labels that stated this. A few weeks later, the labels were back to saying the same thing as before. When I asked an employee they said the owners said they has to stop crossing it out. They didnt fix the problem. The produce is moldy and the bulk bin products like granola doesn't get rotated out. I watch them only add more to the top and it tastes Stale. Id rather pay more and get satisfying food from a company that isn't trying to rip me off by selling me rotten food that they get for dirt cheap through actions when other stores reject the products
520 Swannanoa River Rd
Drinks too high, girls too nasty, a real dump, we wasted our time going, stay AWAY if ur smart!!!
