Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services
I had an appointment scheduled on Monday from 10-2, at 2pm when I hadn't heard from anyone, I called and they said someone would be there by 5. I waited around until 5 when someone finally called to say that they needed to reschedule. They came the following day at 9am, and the repair for my garbage disposal took 5 minutes. The technician that was here was great, very knowedgable. However, he had to charge me a $69 trip charge for the 5 minute fix. When I scheduled, they told me there was no trip charge and that I would be given an estimate before any work was done. Turns out, $69 is the minimum to have them come out. No discount was provided for the fact that I waited 7 hours for them the day before. Overall, the guy who came out for the service was great, but the people at the office need a lot of improvement in terms of better communication with customers.

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services
We live in Aurora, CO. Our kitchen sink drain pipe was damaged and leaking water into our garage right under the kitchen. Bob Griffon was the technician we were fortuante enough to have come out. Bob was GREAT! courteous, professional, and knew right away how to solve a complicated problem, by abandoning the old leaky pipe, and building and then running a brand new one. Good-bye leak, and hello expert plumbers who really stand behind their work! Thanks Bob and keep up the Great work team! 5 out of 5 stars, I definitely will call again and recommend Roto-Rooter to everyone I know.

Payless Plumbing, Heating and Drain Cleaning
Had a little problem with water dripping from the shower faucet. Called 3 plumbers and got quotes from each. 2 plumbers came out and quoted me either $1000 or $1500 if they have to cut through the wall. After that Payless came out and did the job for less than $800. The Plumber from Payless came out and was very informative and knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail and finished the job in a timely manner. He even had to go back to his warehouse to pick up a part. I'm very satisfied with their service and would definitely use them again.

Today we called for plumbing service from Roto Rooter Commerce City address. Roto Rooter were prompt in answering and sending service to our home. Their Plumber Ryan Wyant was very helpful in letting us know what the direct cause was and informative on how Roto Rooter could resolve it . Incompletion of the repair, Ryan provided a number he could be contacted if the drain stopped working again and a 6 month warranty on his work. Thank you Ryan and Rooter for flushing our troubles away!

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services
My kitchen sink backed up and Roto-Rooter offered to come the same day. I was not available so they scheduled for the very next day. Virgil arrived at my home in Lafayette, CO promptly and explained the problem to me. Within a half hour it was fixed and I got an education on the proper use of the garbage disposal. I would definitely recommend Roto-Rooter to my neighbors, plus there's a coupon on the website to help with the expense.

Northgate Plumbing
I've been a faithful customer of Northgate's for nearly four years, and have always been impressed with the efficiency, and quality of service. Today, Nathaniel replaced two ball valves, and a valve spigot in my basement, and the repair went smoothly, and I could not be happier with the installation. I highly recommend Northgate based on their honest professionalism, and reliability.

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services
It wasn't even an emergency and Kyle was here in 30 minutes. He worked for over two hours on a clogged drain, having to bring several machines from his van and put them away. He even removed our bathroom door to avoid scratching it. He even told me about things he fixed on our toilet, since he had it removed. Great experience and best of all, the toilet works great!

I submitted a request late on a Monday night and received such a quick response. Mark came the next day and replaced our sump pump - he did such a wonderful job! Not only did he replace it, but he ensured we were there to see it in action so we felt comfortable with his work.

I called them when my heater went out and I had another Heating company tell me that I needed a new unit. Not only did I not need a new unit, but they came out and fixed it within 45 minutes! Great service and I will continue to call them if I run into any more problems!!
Tips & Advices
  • Are you licensed and registered?
  • Are you insured and bonded?
  • How many years have you been in business?
  • What, if any, professional associations do you belong to?
  • May I have a list of references?
  • Do you offer a written warranty for your work?
  • Will I need a permit for this work?
It is important to have a written warranty for any work or repairs done to the plumbing in your house, especially if it is a major repair. Look for a professional  who is willing to  stand by his or her work.
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
