Advanced Physical Medicine
I cannot say enough about Advanced Physical Medicine. Dr. Allen and her team are awesome. Dr. Allen cares so much about her patients and co-workers. Being a patient at APM is more like being part of an extended family. I have been a patient for over 5 years with Dr. Allen. Dr. Allen has helped me get rid of migraines. Since I have been her patient, I have had maybe 2 migraines. Before her, I was having migraines daily and was on medication. I was able to stop taking medication and still keep the migraines at bay. The massage therapist, Keicha, is amazing. The room is always very clean and organized. My husband and I have been getting massages there since before Keicha. She is by far the best masseuse they have had at APM. Keicha is not just a masseuse, she is a message therapist. She always starts by asking what problems you are having. Sometimes I go in and need the full body massage; front and back. Other times, I just need back massage. She has always worked out all the knots and stress in my muscles. She doesn't just massage; she actually gives you suggestions to keep those knots from coming back between massages. If you are a chiropractic patient, she also takes into consideration your chiropractic care when deciding what type of massage is best for you. She works great with Dr. Allen and not against her.A couple of years ago, we also saw the weight doctor. Working with him, I lost 15 pounds. My husband lost 25 pounds.

Park Row Medical and Dental
This is a great place of business, I would say for one because I am a patient of Dr. U. Obinabo . She is a very nice individual to converse with and will help you on any problems . You will need to be very thorough with her, she can not help you if you do not tell her EVERYTHING . That is why you felt insulted or humored . She will ask you up front about your health and so will the nurses, THEY NEED TO KNOW EVERYTHING. This is a professional medical and dental business. I have had my teeth done here also and I certainly have ABSOLUTELY no complaints :-) . I have had my regular check ups here and I sure will say the professional service was great . Don't like waiting ? Well boo-hoo because there are others out there whom are just as sick as you are. Shame on all of you who are being negative towards Dr. U. Obinabo , she is a Medical Doctor , and in this case MY DOCTOR. So if you don't like the professional business she is in or don't like her services seek out another Doctor who will deal with your infantile behavior . Because Dr. U. Obinabo doesn't need individuals who act like a crass all darn day to her for no apparent reason. I will certainly be more likely to make all my future appointments with her as soon as possible. Good Day .

Quality First Senior Care
Quality First Senior Care has assisted us in the care for my sister, Betty, for over 3 years now. Betty had a brain tumor removed, followed by radiation treatments. Unfortunately, almost a year after the surgery and radiation, Betty began to experience localized seizures and we had to move her into an assisted living facility. We contacted Bibi Pedrosa and the other folks at Quality First Senior Care to provide additional assistance for my sister in the facility where she was placed. They have been excellent in responding to our needs and have provided very good care for Betty. I should mention that Betty is a large individual (approaching 300 pounds at one time) and Quality First made certain that she had people who could handle her and who were reliable. Betty has been treated as a member of the family and cared for lovingly. Unfortunately, my sister's health is continuing to deteriorate and she is now largely bed-ridden and cannot communicate effectively. Her current caregivers are providing her excellent attention and encourage her to reach her maximum potential. Our family has come to depend on Quality First and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Ted French DDS
I was hopeless. I have a genetic predisposition toward bad teeth, a chronic disease, drank cola and coffee and smoked for many years. My experience with dentists was consistently bad. I went to Dr. French to have yet another bad tooth removed. I was concerned because that left no molars in the back to chew on. Dr. French promised me he could help. He produced a bottom “appliance” that simply fit over the few teeth that I had left on the bottom. I was hoping only to be able to chew again. The replacement teeth that I received look fantasticly better than my original teeth have ever looked, with no pain whatsoever, and are virtually undetectable. The difference that Dr. French has made in my life is as dramatic as anything that has ever happened to me. It is as simple as going from being far too conscious of how bad my teeth looked to ever smile, to smiling all the time! I could not be happier and eagerly look forward to getting top teeth as natural and functional as my bottom teeth are now.Dr. French is an outstanding dentist and I strongly encourage anyone with tooth problems to get in touch with his office as soon as possible!Tom Hill

Dr. David Lee
Dr Lee is a young man with very definite ideas about medicine and very little understanding of elderly people. He may some day be a good doctor but he's not there yet. He seems to have little empathy for his patients. I think there's even a bit of contempt, a feeling of "Why do these people let themselves get in such a sorry state." He always seems rushed. I dont think he is in the room for 10 minutes and on my last visit he was typing into the computer for seven of those minutes. He made an incorrect assumption about one of the meds i am taking and i feel he made an incorrect decision because he wouldn't let me speak. This is not medicine as it should be practiced. No one could be efficient or offer good care working like this. It seems to be all about running as many patients through as possible and giving as little back as possible.

MINT dentistry – South Arlington
Mint Dentistry is the best dentist office I have ever been to. The whole experience is just unique. The building is very nice and clean! The staff is extremely friendly and does everything to make sure you're comfortable. They offer things that no other dentist I have ever been to has, from the music, to Netflix, Hulu and the back massaging chairs. They are also very afforable. More importantly they take care of your teeth, I have never had such a thorough teeth cleaning. The whitening trays are definitely something you should try as well. They make the trays in office so there no wait for them and I saw results almost immediately with no sensitivity after using the product. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Ivy Rose Family Dentistry
Excellent customer service and first rate care!I went in for a checkup, I was a bit worried and was not looking forward to it, like most people. Deanne, at the front desk was extremely helpful because I had very little information about my dental insurance and she found everything for me. She was very friendly and professional.Christine, the doctor who did my checkup and cleaning, did a wonderful job of explaining what she was doing as she went along. She also provided a ton of very helpful information on how to care for my teeth better. I wouldn't have imagined going to the dentist would be a pleasant experience, but it truly was. I don't think I could go anywhere else!

Gorski Timothy N
Dr. Gorski saved our baby's life and my wife's life. My wife had a difficult pregnancy; she suffered from pregnancy-related high blood pressure called "ecclampsia" that actually caused her to pass out (it could have caused her to have a stroke and killed her and our baby). Our old doctor said she fainted because she had a full stomach and it was nothing to worry about. We were still worried so we switched doctors to Dr. Gorski who correctly diagnosed her ecclampsia and got her treated for it. A few months later my wife gave birth to our healthy daughter. "Highly recommended" is not saying nearly enough about this gifted, talented doctor.

Dr. Fred Turner
I went in b/c I already knew I had a broken tooth. I was given a complete exam w/x-rays that basically confirmed the damaged tooth, and Dr. Cecil Fred Turner referred me to a surgeon to have it extracted. My experience was fine, the dental assistants were kind, helpful, and professional, especially the one that took my x-rays ... I forgot her name though :( ... and when Dr. Turner came in to exam my teeth, it was quick, painless, and she explained her reason(s) .... she was great!! I had no problem. I wouldn't mind recommending Diamond Dental (Dr. Cecil Fred Turner) to my friends.

Total price for me to get xrays, exam and extraction was $95. Will definitely go back
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
