Dr. Joseph Viernow DC. PA Since 1981
It is my pleasure to endorse the Arkansas Pioneer Chiropractic Clinic. I am 75 years old and have been an educator for 52 years, retiring recently. I have spent my whole life working on my feet and assumed that my old age and arthritis was the reason for loosing my lack of motion, strength and balance. In the middle of September 2015, I woke up one morning with extreme pain in my back, right hip and leg. I did some research on chiropractic services in the Arlington area and close to my home. I had never been to a chiropractic clinic and I choose Arkansas Pioneer Chiropractic Clinic based on former patients evaluation of the clinic. I went to the clinic in extreme pain without an appointment and was immediately attended to by a wonderful professional and friendly staff. I was introduced to Dr. Joseph Veirnow, who with the staff did a through evaluation of my condition. The outcome reveled a compressed disc and a badly aligned spine and muscles that were overly tight. Dr. Viernow was wonderful and professional in helping me understand my condition and what needed to be done to relieve my problems. I went through a series of DX-9000 spinal decompression treatments, which relieved any pain in my back, hip and leg. These treatments are comfortable and provide no pain when one is going through the procedure. In addition, I received a series of “Shock Wave” therapy treatments on the Trigger Points (Muscles) in my back, hip and leg. This wonderful treatment relieved the pain, tension and tightness in those areas. By the middle of November 2015, I have flexibility and movement in my body that I have not had in years. Dr. Veirnow was extremely pleased with my progress and has helped me develop a continued plan of maintance for the future. If you listen and do the things suggested by Dr. Veirnow, you will receive relief from your health problems and be extremely satisfied. This is a great and comfortable clinic with State of the Art equipment and a warm and wonderful staff. I will continue to use their services in the future. Harry B. Educator

Park Row Medical and Dental
This is a great place of business, I would say for one because I am a patient of Dr. U. Obinabo . She is a very nice individual to converse with and will help you on any problems . You will need to be very thorough with her, she can not help you if you do not tell her EVERYTHING . That is why you felt insulted or humored . She will ask you up front about your health and so will the nurses, THEY NEED TO KNOW EVERYTHING. This is a professional medical and dental business. I have had my teeth done here also and I certainly have ABSOLUTELY no complaints :-) . I have had my regular check ups here and I sure will say the professional service was great . Don't like waiting ? Well boo-hoo because there are others out there whom are just as sick as you are. Shame on all of you who are being negative towards Dr. U. Obinabo , she is a Medical Doctor , and in this case MY DOCTOR. So if you don't like the professional business she is in or don't like her services seek out another Doctor who will deal with your infantile behavior . Because Dr. U. Obinabo doesn't need individuals who act like a crass all darn day to her for no apparent reason. I will certainly be more likely to make all my future appointments with her as soon as possible. Good Day .

Quality First Senior Care
Quality First Senior Care has assisted us in the care for my sister, Betty, for over 3 years now. Betty had a brain tumor removed, followed by radiation treatments. Unfortunately, almost a year after the surgery and radiation, Betty began to experience localized seizures and we had to move her into an assisted living facility. We contacted Bibi Pedrosa and the other folks at Quality First Senior Care to provide additional assistance for my sister in the facility where she was placed. They have been excellent in responding to our needs and have provided very good care for Betty. I should mention that Betty is a large individual (approaching 300 pounds at one time) and Quality First made certain that she had people who could handle her and who were reliable. Betty has been treated as a member of the family and cared for lovingly. Unfortunately, my sister's health is continuing to deteriorate and she is now largely bed-ridden and cannot communicate effectively. Her current caregivers are providing her excellent attention and encourage her to reach her maximum potential. Our family has come to depend on Quality First and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Ted French DDS
I was hopeless. I have a genetic predisposition toward bad teeth, a chronic disease, drank cola and coffee and smoked for many years. My experience with dentists was consistently bad. I went to Dr. French to have yet another bad tooth removed. I was concerned because that left no molars in the back to chew on. Dr. French promised me he could help. He produced a bottom “appliance” that simply fit over the few teeth that I had left on the bottom. I was hoping only to be able to chew again. The replacement teeth that I received look fantasticly better than my original teeth have ever looked, with no pain whatsoever, and are virtually undetectable. The difference that Dr. French has made in my life is as dramatic as anything that has ever happened to me. It is as simple as going from being far too conscious of how bad my teeth looked to ever smile, to smiling all the time! I could not be happier and eagerly look forward to getting top teeth as natural and functional as my bottom teeth are now.Dr. French is an outstanding dentist and I strongly encourage anyone with tooth problems to get in touch with his office as soon as possible!Tom Hill

Dr. Joseph Viernow DC. PA Since 1981
I was rear ended from behind, and at first went to a different "chiropractic " clinic. They were trying to charge the driver that hit me for services that were never even rendered. I had just about given up and was starting to accept that I would just have to live life in pain. Then I discovered Dr. Joe Viernow. The staff was great and use state of the art equipment. I was never about trying to get "paid" from the insurance company,I simply wanted to live a pain-free life. They took X-Rays the very first visit. They provided me with a back brace for lumbar support and now after two visits I can tell that this is a staff that has my best interests at heart. I look forward to resuming a normal life pain-free. The machines that they use work and I cannot wait to resolve my neck and back pain issues. I highly recommend Arlington Chiropractor Dr. Joe V. to anyone with back and neck issues.

Dr. David Lee
Dr Lee is a young man with very definite ideas about medicine and very little understanding of elderly people. He may some day be a good doctor but he's not there yet. He seems to have little empathy for his patients. I think there's even a bit of contempt, a feeling of "Why do these people let themselves get in such a sorry state." He always seems rushed. I dont think he is in the room for 10 minutes and on my last visit he was typing into the computer for seven of those minutes. He made an incorrect assumption about one of the meds i am taking and i feel he made an incorrect decision because he wouldn't let me speak. This is not medicine as it should be practiced. No one could be efficient or offer good care working like this. It seems to be all about running as many patients through as possible and giving as little back as possible.

Urgent Care of Texas
I had been sick for over a month, saw three doctors, went to the hospital, had 4 shots, and was on 7 different medications. Nothing was helping! I went to urgent care and saw Dr. Umar Saeed. I walked in and was seen immediately. He took his time listening to me, talking about my symptoms and was incredibly informative. He gave me incredible medicine and started me on an IV. Within 24 hours I was feeling the best I had in over a month. He saw me for a follow up and paid for all my prescriptions because he was upset at how the other doctors I had seen treated me. He is incredibly patient and sympathetic. He is not a doctor who walks in and quickly sees you for maybe 5 minutes. I will forever go to urgent care first and recommend them to anyone. If you wanna be seen and heard and treated well go here!!!!!

Urgent Care of Texas
This is our new "go to" clinic. Today was my third visit to this clinic in the past year. My son need the meningitis vacinne before starting college last Summer. My daughter got strep throat in the Fall. I went today for an ear infection. Each time, I have gotten in quickly. I love the fact that I am not sitting in the waiting room for long lengths of time with several sick patients. In the past, we have used the Care Now Clinic which is always so crowded and feels like a corporate machine. The doctors are friendly here and take the time to talk and explain. The clinic staff are professional. With the late and extended hours they offer, I do not see our busy family using Care Now anymore and I'm excited about having this clinic in our neighborhood. :)

MINT dentistry – South Arlington
Mint Dentistry is the best dentist office I have ever been to. The whole experience is just unique. The building is very nice and clean! The staff is extremely friendly and does everything to make sure you're comfortable. They offer things that no other dentist I have ever been to has, from the music, to Netflix, Hulu and the back massaging chairs. They are also very afforable. More importantly they take care of your teeth, I have never had such a thorough teeth cleaning. The whitening trays are definitely something you should try as well. They make the trays in office so there no wait for them and I saw results almost immediately with no sensitivity after using the product. I would recommend this place to anyone!
Tips & Advices
The most common dental problems in children are:
  • Cavities
  • Bad breath
  • Gum disease
  • Sensitive teeth
  • Grinding
  • Canker sores
  • Missing teeth
  • Extra teeth
  • Bite and alignment issues
Thumb sucking is not specifically a dental problem, but it can cause a malocclusion, a condition where the top and bottom teeth don't line up correctly.
To clean a baby's teeth, use a small, soft-bristled toothbrush designed specifically for infants. Apply a tiny amount of non-fluoride toothpaste - about the size of a grain of rice - and gently brush all sides of the teeth and the tongue. Before the baby's first teeth emerge, use gauze or a wet washcloth wrapped around the finger to wipe the gums. This motion doesn't necessarily reduce bacteria, but it does help the infant to get used to the sensation of having his or her teeth cleaned.
Children should visit their pediatric dentist every six months. This recommended frequency does not change throughout a person's lifetime.
No, wisdom teeth do not need to be removed unless they cause pain, lead to dental issues, or are aligned incorrectly.
Yes, dental sealants prevent cavities by filling in deep grooves in the teeth. Without them, bacteria can collect in these areas and cause tooth decay, which can happen with children.
