Gee Insurance Solutions
As I got older I realized that I don't want my kids to have to pay for my funeral. I started asking around and a couple of friends of mine recommended gee Insurance solutions in Arlington. I live in Dallas but the owner of gee came out to see me and was very knowledgeable and friendly. I got a great plan for a low price. I love that the name of the business comes from his kids names.

Alamo Doors and Gates
Found Alamo online, and visited the "showroom" because I couldn't get any purchasing options online, just customer pictures. There were no samples, pictures, or anything suggesting that they even sold garage doors or accessories. The receptionist handed me a pricing list from Alamo door, and a brochure from the manufacturer, Mid-America Door. The price list and brochure had several names to choose from, however none of the names matched up with the manufacturer's info. The receptionist proceeded to tell me which was which, and we made our decision on a package in which everything was included. Installation was fast and on time, and the guys didnt have a receipt so they said someone would call. The guys left before I checked everything out, and I noticed there were gaps around the entire perimeter. Tech comes, and said that gaskets were not included. I tried to explain that we purchased a package with everything included, but was told gaskets were only included with new builds and that they can be purchased and ordered to be in in a couple of weeks. Would not honor the verbal agreement of receptionist, even though the retail of the gaskets is $30 at Home Depot plus installation. Incredibly disappointed with no actual work order or specifics in print of what we were to get, seems pretty shady. Product is nice, but would NOT recommend Alamo!

SOS Roofing & Construction
Will and Emile Jenkins will take your money but the work will never get done. They are crooks, thieves, scammers....me along with 30+ other consumers in the Arlington/Mansfield area have been patiently waiting for roofing service that we paid these thieves (wish we were WARNED) to do. They hide behind the internet with lies, any review more than a one star is Will, Emile, or anyone that is part of the SCAM. Beware do not do any business with these thieves!!!!!
Tips & Advices
Basic screen-door fixes can be pretty cheap, and most can be DIY fixes. Replacing a door closer can cost less than $15. Door hinges and latches are usually less than $10, unless you are getting really fancy. You’ll probably only need a basic screwdriver and possibly some screws or shims. Replacing the mesh can be more difficult, so weigh the value of mesh replacement vs. full door replacement when considering the actual screen replacement.
Screen door installation, for a standard swinging door (not a sliding screen), is relatively inexpensive. Depending on your area, expect to pay $50-$100 for installation costs. The doors themselves are usually inexpensive and can be as low as $40 (beware of the quality). If you are handy around the house, installing a screen door can be a great DIY opportunity.
A screen-door closer, or a pneumatic cylinder, is a device connecting the screen door to the door jamb. It is usually located at the top of the door and is designed to close the screen door automatically after opening. They can be easily adjusted to quicken or slow the door’s closing speed.
To stop a screen door from slamming shut, adjust the door closer, usually located at the top of the door. There is a cylinder inside the door closer that controls how fast or slow the door closes, and it is usually adjustable with a simple screw driver. If adjusting makes no difference, the door closer might be faulty and need replacing – a low-cost DIY project that requires minimal time and tools.
The most common cause of a sagging screen door is loose or worn hinge screws that attach the screen to the door frame. If they are loose, you can tighten them yourself. A loose latch between the door and the door frame is also a common cause of sagging. Again, check the screws and tighten them up if they’re loose.
