Van De Steeg & Associates
Van De Steeg just installed a new roof for us and it is the best job we've ever had on a roof! Greg Wells coordinated everything for us from beginning to end and did an amazing job. He went above and beyond on everything. I cannot say enough good things about him . He was so helpful through the whole process and coordinated everything with our insurance company since the roof was replaced due to a hail storm. The roofing crew came out and tore off the old roof, made repairs, and installed the new roof in a day. Our yard and property was immaculate after they left. I've never seen roofers do a better job cleaning everything up! I can easily see why Van De Steeg keeps winning the Reader's Choice Award here in OKC. If you need a new roof, be sure to call and ask for Greg. You will not be disappointed. He is honest, knowledgeable, and hard-working. He and Van De Steeg are THE BEST!!!

Dorries Roofing
Dorries completed a new roof for my house in January, 2015. Then, the flashing of the roof was allowing a very small amount of heavy Spring rain, 2016 into the house. One call to Dorries Roofing and it was repair immediately. Not only did the company do a great installation, but also gave quick and efficient follow-up, when there was a small leak from these heavy Spring rains.
Tips & Advices
The most common types of roofing material are:
  • Asphalt shingles
  • Metal roofing
  • Slate shingles
  • Concrete roofing
Metal roofing material and algae-resistant asphalt shingles are the appropriate roofing material for rainy climates.
Houses located in  areas which are prone to wildfires, should avoid the use of flammable roofing materials such as wood shingles.
Not only should you ask to get in contact with past clients, it is also recommended that  homeowners visit projects currently underway to see how the contractor or company actually performs during a job. You can also go online and check out other customer reviews.
Reputable roofers do offer a warranty against poor workmanship. Additionally, the material used often carries a warranty from the manufacturer against defects (assuming proper installation). It is the homeowner’s responsibility to check on the availability of all such warranties before any work is performed.
