Jim's Auto Body
The auto body mechanics broke the latch to my hood, i picked my car up on 3/9/17 and I go out to look under my hood 3/13/17 and my hood would not open. I look underneath the latch to see if they forgot to hook it back up, and I see that the latch is broken in two. Mind you they never said to me that they broke it. They could of did the honorable thing and said that they broke it and that they were going to repair it, but no they chose not too. Either their going to fix it or I'm taking them to small claims court. Check your car from top to bottom, if you're forced to use the company due to your insurance company.

Mike's Mobile Automotive Services
I called Mike for an estimate to fix our car. He communicated clearly with me his fee structure, right up front. He came out the next day to look at our vehicle, which was parked in front of our house. After his initial diagnosis, we discussed his plan to fix the oil leak and the total cost. He said he never exceeds the total cost quoted and he mentioned he only charges for actual labor time spent and materials, so the total cost can be less than the original quote. He also informed me that he allows the customer to provide the parts, if desired. Mike purchased the parts and promptly installed them. He kept me informed and was easy to talk to. The repair was completed successfully, on time, on budget and not a drop of oil was spilled on the street. He even checked back with me a week later to make sure I was still a satisfied customer and I was! I will definitely call Mike the next time I have an automobile issue.

D & K Automotive Repair
I developed a leak in the transmission of my 2004 BMW & took it to D&K.D&K told me they worked on BMWs & did transmission repair. Angel said they charge $95 for a diagnostics.D&K called me back & wanted to take the transmission out & replace it. I was told they don't work on transmissions. They just told me that the transmission leaked. I already knew this & could have guessed that I could just replace the transmission without taking it to D&K. They led me to believe that they were a transmission shop. They did no diagnostics. They lied. I told Angel that I would not pay the $95. Angel refused to give me the keys to my vehicle. He was totally unprofessional I had to call the police out there to their shop. These guys are the classic bait & switch scam. They will tell you that they do transmission repair & try to sell you something for more repair than your car actually may need. A rip off! East Bay Auto Services
Justin and his crew are amazing. I have gone to them twice now with a third trip scheduled. So far I've had a tuneup on my classic car, and a motor Mount and trans mount on my daily driver. This is the only guy I'll let touch my cars anymore. Quality work and parts ensured that. Great prices, Great service, Honest work and great results. I couldn't recommend him more highly. A+ shop

Worrell's Automotive
Excellent mechanics, and good service.Their knowledge and experience definitely shows. I will most certainly go back and recommend them to my friendsI normally work on my truck my self but I was stumped so I took it to a local mechanic down the street figuring he would have better tools then me and know what he's doing. One week and several hundred dollars later I towed it to Worrells all the way in Antioch where I use to live because I know they are good. In less then an hour they figured out the problem, and ordered the parts. They had it back to me by the next day and gave me a good price to fix it. These guys are well experienced professionals, they know what they are doing and have the right tools.

Fix It Automotive Pros
I was in this shop for 9 months until today. They change the owner and must of the people has not experient at allI have a Honda Accord 2004With low milesMy car was not in bad condition but I have a concern cause when te car was in park position, the transition was making a noise like slow change from sped to reverse. Not liking of damage was there.Te guy told me than I have to change the oil of the transition and filters and I did so.After a week than the guy did this change my car star liking oil from the botton of the engine as a drop by each 10 sec. Then the car was back to the shop and the guy told me than the transmition was in bad condition and he has to re build it again, charge of 3000 with all labor and oils plus guaranties for life.Well...I love my car and I did it.Trust in people as human. After a month the car sat liking oil by the botton againg and I call the guy and was a different, upset cause I complain than the job is not done and send me to wait on phone for 10 min. After a woman with bad actitud answer and told me.You must have to town the car to us and we will call you if we find something wrong.I did it again like idiotAnd now was the shaft seal kit.I pay for that cause is nothing with the transmition And a week againg the car got a hi level of warm in the engine due a entied engine of oil.I saw the stick to check the oil in the engine and was dry...YesDry....I call the guys after I saw the left side of the engine with oil all around. Yes I call again and a person answer me with bad actitud cause was always me the one call to complain for the bad job than they do.The person told me againg take the car to us and will see what's wrong I did itAnd I just get a call than the seal kit was burn due a pressure of the engine and damage the tommy bell and u have to do a full service now cause is the first thing than I have to do.I'm so upsetAnd I file a complain to the costumer complains area of contra costa to their check of licenses and experience than they have to certify as technicians This is not an attack This is a human than spend in this people who just lie and has not experience at all and make you pay the experiments than they do in you car.Be aware and remember than cheep not means experience means be carfulI'm learning.Choose a company with history not just someone think than can make it or fix it.I send my car to the dealer Where they repair what those guys fix.
Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
