I want to continue my review of this wonderful dental office. I gave my first review just recently, and now have had my second appointment. At this appointment I had Teri as my Dental Assistant, and she was also terrific. I again had Dr. Azangue, who is terrific and thorough with a good and patient attitude. Chelsea at the front office is very good, and everyone here is tops. This continues to be the best dental office that I have ever been to. I highly recommend this office to anyone. It is super!Ron Sutherland, Anderson, SC

Kool Smiles
I have been going to Kool Smiles in Anderson for about 9 years now and I love it! Dr. V is amazing and she is so nice.Especially since I am scared of needles and other things involved about the dentist she keeps you relaxed and you just feel like you're in good hands. Also the staff is amazing and make your visit easy going and talk with you and get to know you on a personal level. Its a wonderful place especially for mw and my siblings!

Hopewell Family Dentistry
Very comfortable environment and accurate in care and with their work. I've had work on my teeth including 3 fillings and 1 pulled tooth. He met was able to meet me on a day they were closed for an emergency when I had to get another pulled tooth. He did great work and took no time at all and on the day after had no abnormal bleeding and very little pain. I am now using them as the family dentist.

Kool Smiles
My one sons first dentist experience was traumatic making him afraid of the dentist, but after switching to Kool Smiles he loves going to the dentist now! The staff is very friendly and know how to work with children. They make rescheduling easy and have great hours. All three of my children now love to get their teeth cleaned and have learned a lot about dental hygiene.

They were amazing'Each and every employee. Latonya, the asst. made you feel welcome and at ease. Dr. Jenkins was just like having a favorite uncle besides you explaining it all. And for 3Teeth taken out, I would never believed how painless and calm and wonderful everything went. They were the best and I recommend anyone to please go there if need be. You wont regret it!

Besides having the nicest staff of any office in town, I find the Dentist to be extremely professional and personable. He sits by you and talks..explains everything in a way I can understand. Prices are less then other Dentists and no appointment is nec most of the time. Low prices, convenient, professional and warm and fuzzy. What else could you ask for. Bob K

Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
