Dr. John Doster, MD
Dr. Doster and all staff at the Anderson Cancer Center are the most professional people I have ever met. Dr. Doster is the type of Dr. who will answer your questions and will listen to you when you tell him what is wrong. I am more than pleased at the care I have received from this entire team. From the front desk nurses to the Chemo nurses, to the Lab techs. They are all more than qualified. Fantastic Crew.

Dr. Abhijit Ajitkumar Raval, MD
I've been a regular patient of Dr. Raval for four years. If you have lung issues I highly recommend him. He doesn't treat you like a chart; he sits down and talks to you one on one and he understands that chances are you have less experience with your illness than he does. He doesn't sugar coat anything, and when you're sick and sometimes you need a firm 'talking to' he's your guy. What I have may likely kill me. I'm not so afraid with him as my Doc.

Unless you have all day to spend at the doctors office in my personal opinion I wouldnt go. The first time I webt I stayed almost three hours. Granted I was a new patient. The second time I stayed just about two an a half hours. Finally just canceled the app.

DR Kristen Steeley
I highly recommend Dr. Steely. She is a very compassionate and knowledgeable provider. Her committment to wellness and desire to help others is evident in her day to day practice. I have been a patient of Dr. Steely for a few months and have had great results alleviating my lower back problems. The flow of the office is great---very therapeutic and relaxing environment conducive to healing and wellness. And, as an added bonus, her office staff are always organized and friendly. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my experience with Anderson Wellness :)

DO NOT SEE THIS MAN ( NOTICE I REFUSE TO REFER TO HIM AS A DOCTOR ) IN HIS OFFICE OUR IF YOU ARE ON THE 8th FLOOR OF ANMED! ASK FOR ANOTHER DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY! HE SPENDS 2 MINUTES TOPS, WRITES SCRIPTS AND SAYS GOODBYE.

I attempted suicide several times in the begining of December while being treated for depression. The referral was sent on the eleventh and we could not gift in touch with the office for THREE WEEKS! A month and a half later I got a call to set up an appointment. I was livid. luckily I wasquickly seen by another psychiatrist and didn't kill myself. this was nothing short of negligence.
Tips & Advices
Scoliosis is a disorder where the spine curves sideways. Most people develop the condition during the growth spurt before puberty. The cause of scoliosis is unknown and most cases are mild, but the rare severe instances can disable a person.
Orthopedic surgeons attend four years of medical school, then four to five years of orthopedic residency in a hospital. They must also be licensed and certified in orthopedic surgery by the state in which they practice.
The terms "orthopedic doctor" and "orthopedic surgeon" refer to the same profession. Related specialties include podiatrist, a doctor who works with the bones, tendons and ligaments in the feet, and a sports medicine physician, a doctor specially trained to treat athletes.
The cost of a visit to an orthopedic surgeon depends on the type of tests ordered and treatment given. For example, an MRI costs $500-$1,300. An initial consultation costs $100- $500, while anesthesia for a procedure generally ranges from $2,000-$4,000. Overall, an orthopedic surgery can cost anywhere from $15,000 to $30,000.
During a consultation or first appointment with an orthopedic surgeon, the practitioner will ask the patient a variety of questions to understand the situation. The surgeon might ask about the patient's pain levels, medical history, and any prior injuries. Then, the surgeon will administer a physical exam and possibly schedule tests to better understand the problem. Possible tests include a stress test, x-ray, or MRI.
