Stay far far away from this place-- especially don't buy the Groupon.I scheduled my appointment with a Groupon certificate and like many others they cancelled the day of the appointment. Also they redeemed the Groupon as soon as I called. The lady who called me (30 minutes) before my appointment was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. This was to be a Mother's Day gift and they totally ruined it. I wouldn't recommend this place for free. However Groupon was awesome and refunded my money for both purchases, I have a feeling now I wasn't the first person to call them.

According to the hairstylist running the salon, she doesn't need our "chump change" because she's "been running this business for over 30 years", at least that's what she told me after she lost my Aunt's first appointment. We decided that maybe there was an accident and decided to set up dual appointments. The day of our appointment, it was snowing on an already snowy and icy roads, but we made the 40 minute drive anyway. We arrived 5 minutes late and she wasn't there. Her son apologized repeatedly and tried contacting her after checking the books only to find that we weren't scheduled again. The woman had contacted me via text message prior to the day of our appointment, so I called her to see if there was some sort of mistake. She texted me back, now 15-20 minutes after our appointment time, saying that there was 12 inches of snow (mind you, we *just* drove through the same weather), and that if we wanted to wait, it was going to be awhile, but if we couldn't, we could contact Groupon for our money back. We waited for over 40 minutes and shenever arrived.I explained that she lost our business due to lack of communication and she told me this: "Actually you guys have rescheduled three times so i've been doing here 30 years honey and I've owned a business from was 17 so your chump change doesn't make or break me believe that"Once, that's how many times I rescheduled and that was because she lost my Aunt's first appointment and we wanted to go together! If I could give her zero stars, I would. Her loss, I suppose, because we are great tippers. We've been known to tip up to 100% if we recieve excellent service!

Dogs Day 'Bow'tique
Made an appointment and forgot what time it was at, I called in to refresh my memory and I'm assuming the owner... was dropping her kids off at school and sounded too busy to speak to me, I asked if she could give me a call when she gets back to her work and she sounded if that was too much of a hassle itself and told me that "my appointment is probably at 9:00am".I do not appreciate the complete lack of customer service nor do I appreciate the slight attitude when I asked to be called back, that is not a way to run a business. I am extremely disappointed.

Fourth Ave Boutique
Horrible. They're rude to customers not respectful and just horrible business owners. The girl in the store is very judgmental and mean, (I overheard her once talking bad about a customer to another employee saying that she was too fat to wear a dress). They're never open when they say they will be, multiple times I've had to wait outside the store when they were supposed to be open and they never showed up. Not impressed by this business.

Fourth Ave Boutique
We purchased a prom dress for senior prom for our daughter here. A clasp needed to be fixed so we Payed for the dress in full and left it with them to be fixed. They called us when the dress was ready for pick up on Thursday. Monday when my daughter went in to pick up her dress that was paid for was gone. They told my daughter they sold it. They argued with her & Refused to refund money although it was a mistake on their part. They offered her store credit & had no dresses in store her size and didn't expect to get any in before prom. I called store and the lady said she absolutely could not refund my money. I told her my daughter would not be leaving the store until they refunded money for the dress. She kept arguing with me and said it was a mistake and they would give us store credit. I told her we would never be doing business with this store again. She never once apologized for her mistake. Very rude and unapologetic. Left us 2 weeks to find a new dress!

Best of Breed Pet Grooming
I have never got such bad service in my life. I just walked in there to use a coupon for a free nail and instantly the groomer wasn't happy I was there. I then asked her how much it would be to clean his ears she told me about $5 or $10 and I asked if she could do that too... She ROLLED HER EYES at me at and told me "yea I guess...most people do it at home but whatever I guess I can"I just walked out before I said something I would regret. Will never go back and will tell people not to come here

Snow Leopard Boutique
Wonderful eclectic boutique with an owner who has a killer eye for style and thinks outside the box.
Tips & Advices
Many people fear that their pet will be injured at the groomer, but incidents of serious injury are infrequent. For minor injuries , it is appropriate the groomer pay the vet bill, and can usually be worked out between groomer and owner. For moderate to severe injuries, you can attempt to activate groomer’s liability insurance to cover medical expenses. However, be aware that most groomer contracts stipulate that the business does not assume responsibility.
Staff at groomers know that there is inherent risk when handling animals, and they are familiar with being snapped at or bitten. However, it is not a normal occurrence or something you should ignore. Many people choose to cover medical expenses or pay extra--at minimum, apologize and get the dog into behavior classes. It is a given that  you should sedate or muzzle the animal for all future grooming sessions.
It is always recommended to make an appointment to get your pet groomed. While some groomers, especially in the larger pet stores, can accommodate with short notice, popular neighborhood groomers are often booked out two weeks out or longer on weekends.
If your pet has sensitive skin, let the groomer know when you set the appointment. But be aware, all dogs have sensitive skin by human standards--their skin is much thinner. Therefore, you should be on the lookout for signs of sensitivity, and reduce it through regular grooming with gentle, natural shampoo and conditioner. Oatmeal shampoo is a favorite. Daily brushouts and omega oil supplements are recommended for every day at-home care.
For various reasons including insurance clauses and pet-owner relationship dynamics and behaviors, groomers prefer owners don’t stay with their pets while being groomed.
