Varsity Plumbing
This company needs to look at who they employ to drive. Once of their drivers was on the road, changed lanes into my lane without signaling, I ride a motorcycle, so I had to swerve to avoid being hit. I look over and the idiot driver is on his phone leaning against the window of the truck. The driver needs to be fired.

PMC Plumbing Inc
This company is overpriced and does not care about the needs of the customer. The blatantly make up problems as they “investigate” the problem with your plumbing. I knew someone who worked for them and they treated the individual like trash. What is it with plumbing companies treating their labor like trash and over-pricing their work? They charged me an insane amount of money for digging 3 feet into my yard to replace my piping then raised the price! After it was fixed! Stay away at all costs!

Tom Moffett Plumbing
I want to say "thanks" to Tom Moffett Plumbing for sending out Felix F. to fix my home drain problem. He did a great job. He asked me questions and really listened to helped me understand my water heater was about to quit working. Today, Felix installed our new water heater and we're very pleased with the service. I even signed up for their monthly service plan. I highly recommend Felix F. from Tom Moffett Plumbing.

West Coast Plumbing & Rooter Service
Extremely knowledgeable and great prices. So much so, they can basically diagnose your problem over the phone and give you a price on the spot. I took a picture and they explained the science of my situation and came out right away.

Rapid Plumbing
Do Not use this company. I called them today, I was experiencing problems with keeping my pilot lite lit, I assumed it was the thermocouple and I still do. I called on the phone I spoke with a very nice girl. I asked to get a written estimate she told me the estimate was FREE she said she would call me when they were on there way so I thought great sounds good so Hillbilly John was who they sent out to my house, now member the first impression always counts..... I didn't like his appearance nor his attitude, first of all he was very unprofessional he told me it would be $ 85 dollars just to "diagnose" the problem now isn't that an "estimate" I said I was told the estimate was free he said you waited all this time for a free estimate and well... he got a LiL mad he assumed I was just going to hire him., anyway the fact here was he couldn't even guarantee his work nor did he even look at my water heater I got rid of him real quick,, never again, SO DONT CALL RAPID PLUMBING UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET BURNED BY SOME HILLBILLY, , EXPENSIVE RIP OFF GUETTO TOO.

Pro-Connect Plumbing & Rooter Inc
This review is mainly for Robert. I am very displeased with his service. I've had two toilet leaks and one ceiling leak problems to fix. Pro-Connect Plumbing was dispatched by American Home Shield. He did a good job on the ceiling leak and one of the toilets (I will give him that). The main issue I have with Pro-Connect is when Robert came back to my house for a recall because one of the toilets was still making a leaking sound. The toilet does not leak 24/7, it leaks sporadically throughout the day (which is why I recorded a video of water squirting under the fill valve on my phone). He said he cannot replace parts if it does not leak in front of his face (Ummm how am I supposed to control the time of the leaks...?)I think he should have replaced the fill valve because the water keeps leaking out of it, but he replaced the flapper the first time he came. He told me I would have to pay 75 dollars if I want the fill valve replaced... ARE YOU KIDDING ME? if he had diagnosed the problem and replaced the parts correctly the first time, the toilet would not be leaking still!!!He just cared about getting paid. He even told me he would replace the entire toilet, only I would have to pay out of pocket!!! Robert seems to have gotten frustrated over the situation. He raised his tone of voice and displayed a rude demeanor. He definitely has an attitude problem. He specifically said, "who is going to pay me? the insurance will not pay for it. I don't work for free." And there he went. My toilet is still leaking. I had to reschedule all my plans for this day to wait for Pro-Connect only to waste a whole day with the toilet that is still leaking because he diagnosed it wrong the first time and won't own up to it. I wish that I had control over which company American Home Shield sends over. I guess cheap hire means crappy service as well. With so many 1 stars on Yelp, I would think the company would look into their problems, but I guess it does not matter to them as long as they get $$$ from home warranty companies.

ABP Plumbing
prompt service at a fair price and does the job right the first time, tried other plumbing companies in the past, but ABP is the first to not oversell the issue.

Adam did a complete remodel of our bathroom and it is fantastic! He also replaced our water heater in an emergency situation! I highly recommend Adams Plumbing for small jobs and great big ones!
Tips & Advices
Usually, a leaky or dripping faucet is an easy fix that can be done by anyone who is even slightly handy with tools.. To fix it, first shut off the water under the sink then remove any decorative parts of the faucet and replace the washer and O-ring before reassembling everything.
To keep yourself safe from fraud or a possible scam, always remember to ask plumbers for their license along with a written warranty for their labor. Besides this, further safeguard yourself by checking their references and ensure they or their company is insured and bonded to do their work.
If you're having hot water issues, you can examine the thermostat and adjust it accordingly. If you hear odd sounds coming from your water heater, it could be due to sediment building up. To get rid of this, make sure you clean out the heater every few months. However, if you hear a boiling noise, it could mean the heater is overheating and you should call a plumbing professional as soon as possible.
Frozen pipes are hazardous and can cause massive amounts of damage to your home. To prevent your pipes from freezing during the winter, run your faucets at a trickle and keep your house's heater at 55 degrees Fahrenheit or above to keep the water flowing.
  • Be mindful of how much water you use in your bathroom, kitchen and even outdoors when watering your lawn.
  • Make sure your toilet handle works properly and doesn't stick.
  • Replace old shower heads with more efficient low-flow options that can cut down on the gallons of water you use each morning.
  • Turning off the water while you brush your teeth
  • Only running your dishwasher or clothes washer when you have a full load.
