Avis Heating & Air Conditioning
Wanted to tell whoever is in charge how grateful I am for the customer service I got from AVIS. I accepted the low priced tune-up offer. Your tech said I should get a coil which I kinda knew. As a part time teacher I'm not rolling in the dough. However, I decided to finance the coil as I had difficulty sleeping at nite because the air conditioning unit was so noisy.AVIS dispatched a top technician to work on the problem, which was rather thoughtful as I imagine there were complete and bigger jobs he could be working on. He stayed until my unit was fixed and running noise free, replacing just a few parts that were necessary rather than a whole unit..They really have superior customer service and they didn't take advantage of me. I'll let my co-workers, neighbors and friends know about them.Tell Everyone thanks.TerriAG

Nexgen Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc.
My name is Martha and I just had air/heating installed in my home. 1st of all Christian was my Top Angel sent by God. He worked with me in a professional manner which I felt peace in signing the contract with his company. You rock Chris. 2nd the staff, Jose, Jesus and the 3rd team mate(can't remember his name) were very efficient, professional, courteous, respectful, very clean and on time. The individual who did the patch up work did a fabulous job as well. I highly recommend this company. You will not regret it. Oh! And Joey, the electrician worked in the same manner and I'm very happy with his work as well. Thank you Nexgen Air team, you're the best!

Additionally, we will get the tax credit of $1,500, $150 from PG&E, and $75 from the manufacture so it pays for itself. The work took 2 1/2 days since a furnace replacement is considered a large project. The staff and Rich's foreman was pleasant and professional. The furnace works great and the entire duct works have been reconnected and up to code, I couldn't be any happier. Rebecca who answers the phone and schedules the appointments was organized and always so on top of things. She even assisted me with all the necessary paper works to get the rebates

Tom Moffett Plumbing
I want to say "thanks" to Tom Moffett Plumbing for sending out Felix F. to fix my home drain problem. He did a great job. He asked me questions and really listened to helped me understand my water heater was about to quit working. Today, Felix installed our new water heater and we're very pleased with the service. I even signed up for their monthly service plan. I highly recommend Felix F. from Tom Moffett Plumbing.

Amazing in his work, he was on time, courteous , hard working and very polite! I haven't seen this type of person and service in a long time! He was meticulous in his work and cleaned up each area like he wasn't even there. I would highly recommend him for any duct cleaning service that is needed. His manager should feel privileged to have a worker like him!

Harry's Anaheim Expert HVAC Services
The second time I asked them to come back was about 8 months later when I noticed that the tape which was used to hold down the insulation all around the outside of the duct tubes was coming off all over and the aluminum tape which was used to replace the galvanized metal cover on the heating unit that had been thrown away was also coming undone.

They were fantastic - the issue was diagnosed in minutes, part brought and fixed 2 days later. I had a different HVAC company come in prior who took 60 minutes to not even figure out what was wrong, were unfamiliar with my system, and told me it would be a complex and expensive fix. So glad I went to Heating!

Daniel arrived within the time window provided, and even called me that morning to confirm his arrival time. I have to say that I was the one that was late to arrive at the home because Daniel even showed up earlier than the provided arrival time.

Extremely knowledgeable and great prices. So much so, they can basically diagnose your problem over the phone and give you a price on the spot. I took a picture and they explained the science of my situation and came out right away.

Tips & Advices
It is important to have a written warranty for any work or repairs done to the plumbing in your house, especially if it is a major repair. Look for a professional  who is willing to  stand by his or her work.
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
  • Before calling a plumber, try to unclog your drains and toilets yourself by using a plunger.
  • Make sure you use a standard bell-shaped plunger for your sink and shower drains and a plunger with a flanged end for your toilets.
  • If neither type can loosen the pipe blockage, put a plumber's snake to use.
  • Ratchet the snake down the pipe to eliminate any clogs.
