Impressions Salon
I have been coming to Lauren Felder to get a men's haircut, style, and beard trim since she was still in cosmetology school. She is absolutely amazing at hair and she can do it all. She is a licensed cosmetologist in the state of Texas. Lauren is also Tigi trained. She can do any cut or color you want, men or women. Women she's amazing at ombré and highlights/lowlights, or anything else you might want. Men she's great at beard trimming if you want that neat all even look while still keeping a big beard. She does eye brow waxing also. These are just some of the things she offers in a nutshell. She believes in always continuing education to stay on top of her field. Tired of leaving salons like Braxton Paul or Wade Gordon unhappy with your hair? Overpaid for your cut or color at these "5 star salons"? Bottom line is that if you want a real 5 star experience, go to Lauren Felder. You will get better quality at a better price. That's a fact. I will continue to go to Lauren all my hair needs! She is a true dedication and talented professional! What are you waiting for? Make an appointment!!!

BSA Health System
I have used BSA over the past 6 years for many different reasons. The emergency room staff is always very helpful and I feel they see me as soon as they can. All of the staff is knowledgeable and acts like they truly care about me. I have had two children at BSA and their labor and delievery unit is the top notch to me. They go above and beyond. With my last child he was born 3 months early and I was in the hospital off and on for many weeks before having him. I felt very well cared for. They made me as comfortable as possible. For a hospital the food in the cafeteria is very good. Then my son had to stay in the NICU for two months. BSA was a home away from home. I felt my baby was in the second best possible place. From the xrays, ultrasounds, labs and every area I have dealt with at BSA I am very pleased. They make dealing with health issues easier and less stressful.

Amarillo Urgent Care LLC
Took my husband in due to severe lower back pain. Within a few minutes of checking in they had him back in an exam room. We seen the nurse practitioner within minutes of the intake. After she listened to his complaints she order a urinary test and xray of his kidneys to check for stones. Shortly after she was back in with the results. Wrote Rx for antibiotics and pain. We were in and out in just over an hour. The staff was professional from the check in desk to the nurse practitioner to the dismissal desk. The cost was within reason for the test that were performed. We will be back if we ever need medical treatment again.

Imagination Station
Well first of all everyone that says that place is nasty, I know that if I was going to drop my kid off at a place I would want to take a tour of the place and if it was as nasty as it was I would not drop off my son. And for some of you that says you just kept dropping off your kids at a place like that. I would not ask what is wrong with the place but what is wrong with you as parents. See if a place was that bad after the first day I would run. So what ever you are writing on here I don't believe and with anyone that has common sense would not either. And if it was that bad why did you not report them.

The Salon By Lora Brown
I recently moved to Amarillo and The Salon by Lora Brown had been recommended to me several times. This is by far the best salon experience I have ever had. ALL the staff were friendly and courteous, and the salon itself is beautiful and absolutely spotless. Their prices are a bit higher than other salons in the area, but my cut and color were worth every penny ... My stylist was very knowledgeable and her work is impeccable (and I'm very picky!). I already made my next appointment.

Best take your family with you if you're getting food. They say is by weight. But, I don't see how they know the weight when they hand out each item of food. Plus, if you have 7 kids and go by yourself you may get enough food for a day and waste 2 hours for a preaching. Plus, seen some people walking out with carts damn near half food and I walked out with 2 small can boxes of food. I gave up 70$ worth of pay for 30$ worth of food

I've been going to Kellie for years, even before she was at this salon. The stylists are all friendly and a lot of fun, act more like family. I have never had a bad cut or style and they know their coloring inside and out. My stylist uses Paul Mitchell products which I really like. They are NOT CASH ONLY, I've used debit and credit cards there for years. The place is clean and well kept.

Arrived at ER by ambulance. Had a stroke. ER team to hospital doctors were the best. Once admitted nursing staff, tech staff, all staff were great and super caring. To me haven't been in a hospital for years food was really good. And the food staff from the person or phone as caring as rest the staff. Very impressed with this hospital

Medical Interim Services
Interim Hospice wa very helpful and courteous with the passing of our Mother. They we very helpful. They contacted the funeral home for us and let us take all the time we needed to say our final goodbyes. They were not hovering over us but were available at a moments notice. Everything I would expect from Hospice.
Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
