She is great. I would hands down recommend her to ANYONE. You do need to know the law and the bounds by which EVERYONE, including your lawyers, are stuck with. Lawyers cannot go against any law either, they can file a motion to have something modified if its in an agreement of some sort but they are a human being bound just like you are. Their jobs is to assist you change something and defend you if necessary. She was very honest with me even when it was stuff I didn't like. I appreciated the non sugar coated answers. She let me know her honest opinion of what I should and shouldn't do, how to view my case in a better light, rather than an emotional mom. After working in my job for almost two years, I am VERY grateful for her guidance and advising. I've learned so much and I know that the decision we made was the correct one and best interest of my child. As a client, you need to read up on laws as well as the lawyer, BBUUTT TRUST they are going to do whats right and everything they can for you!

Kool Smiles
I have been to Kool Smiles several times as a foster parent. One thing I do Not like is there appointment setting done from a call center in another area .. they call and don't know what in the world is going on .. they call with a reminder for an appointment that I do not even have yet and always seem confused .. I took a 3 year old to get 8 crowns and 3 root canals .. she had to be put to sleep so it was not a fun day .. They did give her laughing as before the iv so that part was easy but after she woke up she went into an extreme temper tantrum, punching the worker and me in the face and kicking and screaming for nearly 2 hours .. the bad thing was about 15 to 20 minutes after she got up they led me out a side door and said goodbye .. I then had to carry her kicking and screaming to my truck then had trouble getting her inside and then had to sit in the car for 1/2 hour while she screamed and fell in the floor and kicked .. I will still go back the surgery went well.

Abbeville Dentistry
The first time they saw my son and it was ok. I liked the Dentist, but the hygienist took my 8 year old back there and acted like I was intruding when I insisted on going back with him. Then she just did a flouride treatment on him without asking if I wanted that because the insurance covered it. My husband and I went two weeks later and were very disappointed. We just wanted to get our teeth cleaned and instead, after an hour of X-rays and consultations they brought us a financial plan for a few fillings and suggested cleaning that were not covered or way above and beyond what insurance covered. When we told her we just wanted regular cleanings that day rather than be out $600 and three hours late to work and she was short and rude about it because we were not choosing the expensive deep cleanings she suggested. Needless to say, our teeth didn't get cleaned and we won't be going back.

Dr. Hsu and Brenda Hernandez @ Kool kids were beyond awesome! I've never had anyone care for my child the way they have. My son is 5 and had to have two fillings this morning! He was crying and shaking how nervous he was. After Brenda talk to him about Halloween and just a normal conversation. He immediately started to calm down. Dr. Hsu was the best dentist I've ever taken my kids too! He talked to macyn while performing the fillings. He made Macyn feel like a real superhero! Made my entire family feel comfortable and very welcome. He was also so helpful with foods and juices I should stay away from. I can't wait for the kids 6months check up! If you want awesome friendly kid denial work. Please ask her These lovely people!

Sherwood Dental Center
I'm sorry to hear that you are not happy with your experience here at Sherwood Dental. Let me reference Mr. Stader first; The denture package that you went with does not come with a warranty. We advertise that actively and do encourage our patients to get the better packages that offer a 2 or 3 year warranty. Now to the patient who was in for 6 crowns; Dr. Koen doesn't like to inflect pain on anyone! I'm sorry if you experienced such discomfort. I understand your concerns over the look of your temporaries, but let me assure you that your crowns will look beautiful. The temporaries are simply a copy of your original teeth and often times we can not match your shade perfectly with the temporaries.

Aspen Dental
My tooth with a cavity had cracked so wanted them to pull it. The employees were super nice and the exam was a good exam. But I have no idea why they wanted to send me somewhere else just to pull a tooth. At the end they wanted me to comment to a long term of dental services ($5500.+)and wanted 60% down before doing anything.WTH, I just want my tooth pulled.Seen an ad that Aspen would exctract a tooth for $109.00 it was $294.00 on the sheet with a long list of things they wanted me to comment to.When I asked the girl abt $109. she smiled & says "yeah. All I wanted was a tooth pulled and they seemed more concern abt long term as opossed to my needs at the time

Vaavia Edwards
Vaavia Edwards helped myself and my finance' in ways that still to this day leave us literally stunned. Vaavia Edwards possessed an intense and fierce behavior towards the oppositions depravity. Never have I witnessed such vigorously aggressive " no compromise " legal actions on people who really deserved it. This attorney rescued our children from a terrible situation which was made worse by lies of the oppositions family. Vaavia Edwards had an exceptional degree of success in my case. I would recommend her at the highest level without any reservation. I received no compensation for this endorsement

Abbeville Dentistry
Their fairly constant advertisements talk about how a new patient's first exam and xrays are free. They billed my insurance for them, and since their full mouth Xray isn't covered, they decided to add it to financing that I had to do later when I decided to do a root canal and crown, that they gave me a "discount" for since I had insurance that already wasn't going to cover it. I'm not sure which I'm more upset at, Abbeville Dentistry for billing me 3 months later for something they advertise being free, or my insurance for denying it in the first place.

Kool Smiles
We've been using Kool Smiles for a few years now. Overall I am really happy with our experiences. I have 5 kids and they all deal with going to the dentist differently. My youngest boy has a really hard time and we've seen all the dentists at one point or another. The assistants are always friendly and very sweet to all my kids but especially Reece knowing he struggles with being there. Amanda has been so kind and patient dealing with him. I am very appreciative of all the smiles and friendly faces we see every time we go in Kool Smiles. Thank you!!!
Tips & Advices
  • Pick Your Plan: Most people purchase three main varieties, usually through their employers.
    • An indemnity or fee-for-service plan means you'll have to pay for annual deductibles and co-insurance payments out of pocket.
    • A preferred provider organization is less costly, and you choose from a network of dentists. However, PPOs have some limitations and accompanying deductibles.
    • A dental health maintenance organization plan limits you to just a few choices of dentists, and one doctor handles all of your oral care needs. However, these HMO are usually much less costly.
  • PPO plans and dental HMOs work with only a select number of doctors. While that usually means fewer costs, it also means you have less choice in the dentist who can treat you Before purchasing the plan, you'll receive a list of dentists in each network. From there, you can then pick a plan with doctors who meet your standards and requirements.
  • When picking a plan, you need to look at just how much you'll pay for each and every service. For instance, some plans won't cover your fillings or X-rays, while others may charge more or less for a crown or tooth extraction. You don't want to be caught off-guard by unforeseen charges.
  • If you're truly comfortable with a dentist and you feel he or she can be an ally in your ongoing oral care regimen, then consider signing a plan to just keep that dentist available. That means potentially deal with costs and other insurance-related factors that you might have wanted to. If need be, you might be able to work with the dentist's office to address some of the plan-specific concerns.
  • Ask family, friends or colleagues for recommendations. They will be able to provide details about a dentist's demeanor, operating style and approach to patient care
  • Meet with any prospective dentists to ask about what treatments they perform most often, procedures they're not as familiar with, what accreditation they have or any organizations they belong to and how their offices handles insurance and payments.
  • Consider driving distance, location and office hours.
  • Check With Your State Board: The state board can outline what requirements your dentist must meet and offer information about any discrepancies in the their background and if he or she has faced any disciplinary actions.
  • Remember Your Angles - When brushing your teeth, always place the brush at a 45-degree angle..
  • Don't Forget the Tongue – Your tongue is the largest source of bacteria. Brush it front to back and don't forget the sides.
  • Floss Everyday - Each time you floss, have at least 18 inches of floss available. For optimal control, hold the floss between your thumbs and forefingers.
  • Watch What You Eat - Sugar, alcohol and coffee contain phosphorus. While some can prove beneficial, too much of this chemical can eat away at your teeth and gums.
  • Keep in Mind the Mouthwash - Mouthwash can be helpful if used to supplement proper brushing and flossing. Most mouthwash brands contain chlorine dioxide, a chemical that targets the majority of oral bacterial strains.
Yellow teeth are the result of a number of bad habits, mainly smoking, drinking too much coffee and improper nutrition. Many dentists will treat with a whitening procedure.
These painful bumps are the result of irritation to the soft tissue of your mouth. These sores can make brushing almost impossible. There are a number of different causes for sores, including anemia or a vitamin B-12 deficiency. Your doctor will have to examine the bump, find its cause and then develop a specific treatment plan, including the use of corticosteroids to reduce inflammation or antimicrobial mouthwash.
