Lynna Hoyt-Rogers LPC
Very unprofessional & manipulative. Took advantage of us & treated us with such disregard that I vomited after we left office. She even smirked with pride & chuckled as we left. They forgot about us for over an hour, nursing intake wasnt performed, & we were told multiple times that an LPC can make any diagnosis she wants because doctors "get it wrong". We went to seek help with coping with recent changes but she caused so much damage in one appt that we may never seek a counselor again.

Amarillo Bone and Joint Clinic PLLC
My son fractured his forearm while at summer football camp this year. We were referred to Amarillo Bone & Joint and I am so thankful that we were!!The office is fairly new. The waiting room is very spacious with ceiling to floor windows (which I love), 2-3 flat screen T.V's one that is playing the news and the other usually has cartoons on for the younger patients. The office staff has always been courteous and professional. The medical staff has always been excellent!!! We were not seen by the Dr. we were seen by his PA Mindy. She was AMAZING!!! From the very beginning Mindy was SO warm, comforting, and had excellent bedside manner. We expected to be in the cast for a month. We are going on week 7 and we are 100% on board with that. Mindy is a mother and views her patients as if they were her own when she treats them. She went over the X-Rays in detail all 3 times and answered my questions as well as my 9 year old sons questions. I highly recommend this practice!!

Hello Linda, I am so sorry to read this, have you notified the physician or office? As to date we have not been notified of any patient with this kind of result. Please call the office and let us get him in to see the doctor. If your husband is not comfortable coming in then let us help with the process of finding him a new physician.

Amarillo Urgent Care LLC
Took my husband in due to severe lower back pain. Within a few minutes of checking in they had him back in an exam room. We seen the nurse practitioner within minutes of the intake. After she listened to his complaints she order a urinary test and xray of his kidneys to check for stones. Shortly after she was back in with the results. Wrote Rx for antibiotics and pain. We were in and out in just over an hour. The staff was professional from the check in desk to the nurse practitioner to the dismissal desk. The cost was within reason for the test that were performed. We will be back if we ever need medical treatment again.

BSA Health System
BSA has steered very far from its slogan it swears by.Ardent (the corporation that owns them) has turned it into nothing more than a business with zero regard for the employees and their patients overall well being.Earlier one of the directors admitted they refused to treat their employees like human beings and more like a number that can be easily replaced.Keep in mind- if you're not a nurse or a tech- you're paid very poorly and looked down on. (dining services, transport, custodian, etc.)They want your absolute obedience with no patience for your well being. They want your money if you've been treated-regardless if you didn't need the test(s).The facility is always in constant repair with the elevators either falling apart completely or keeping you stuck on the floor you're trying to leave.BSA is no longer serving you with Christian values. It's controlled and manipulated by Ardent Corp.

Tips & Advices
Emergency care facilities can treat infants and children. Roughly 16 percent of emergency patients are infants and children, so the medical professionals at these facilities typically have strong experience in pediatric emergency care.
The average wait time will depend on the type of emergency care facility.. Wait times typically average less than 20 minutes at an urgent care facility. At a hospital-based emergency care facility that treats life-threatening conditions, wait times can take as long as an hour or more.
Board certification is not required for emergency care facilities. However, the top facilities are often board certified. At hospitals, many emergency care centers require that their physicians be board certified as a qualification for employment. Two boards that handle this type of certification are the American Board of Medical Specialties and the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine.
Emergency care facilities include those that offer urgent care, and some urgent care facilities offer certain primary care services. At these facilities, patients are usually evaluated upon arrival, and a determination is made as to whether the problem requires emergency care, urgent care, or primary care.
Some medical tests and scans are performed at emergency care facilities. These facilities may perform select X-rays and blood tests if this is deemed necessary to assist your treatment. However, the range of medical tests and scans offered is much more limited than those offered as part of standard hospital care.
