My 6.4 did exactly what the 6.4 do... CLUNK OUT. I hauled a Harley edition Ford to Sacred and said I might need them to work on my BEAST one day. Well that day came and I called... they rebuilt the engine replaced the transmission and even honored the warranty on the motor when two pistons cracked on me. Now I'm up and running again. Deleted. Top end Bullet Proof. Chipped... moderate black smoke yells to the world when I'm mashing up a hill with no problem... and the gas mileage is 18 no load and 10.1 pulling 30,000 lbs. They have continued to go above and beyond, Robert considers me a buddy... and we still talk to this day. The crazy thing is... they have atleast 10 trucks in the shop and still blast out the job in no time. Yeah I give em 100,000,000 stars.

Very crappy work on a $2200.00 fuel injector pump repair. Module was tie strapped to the wheel well with no heat sink. Battery cables were left loose, hose clamps were left loose, injector pump timing was off. I took the truck back 2 times and the last time they had it for nearly a month. They were very rude and did not treat Me like they even wanted to work on my truck. In all it was a terrible experience. Do not use this shop!

Food is amazing. If you can deal with never having your drink refilled and asking if you need anything then this is the place to go. Food is amazing. Other then that I dont go to this place because they ignore you after they bring you your food.

Horrible business needs to be shut down they have had my truck over 6 months and it sat out back with the hood open the whole time this is a 30 thousand dollar truck with 700 hp that I keep in a shop the sat part is I gave them 6000 already and I had to hassle them for a month to get a receipt. All they had to do was rebuild the top end of the motor and they bored it .040 over when we agreed on .020 now Its probably gonna overheat as soon as I hit traffic. Also they told me my truck was gonna be done labor day weekend here it is August still no motor

I have lived in the Brazoria County area for 23 years - all the time we lived in Alvin. You know how we all say the older we get the better it gets - well dealing with these guys was just that .. I bought my Range Rover Sport at Motor Trends - worked with Marcus Cook and he made taking my money almost enjoyable :) - if one can believe that? I felt comfort in what I believed was a fair deal .. expedited all to perfection on a timely basis.. Love driving my SUV - it feels just like NEW! Thanx..

I bought a car at Motor Trends and was really impressed with their attention detail. Marcus worked hard to take care of all my needs. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good clean pre-owned car, truck, or SUV.

Thank you for all your hard work getting things taken care of before I arrived to sign my papers and pick up my truck. The detail you all put into making my truck look like a brand new vehicle was above and beyond what I expected. You had a lot going on and many people looking at and purchasing cars, but you still took care of even the minor details with my truck. I appreciate the ease of purchasing a vehicle, and the time you put in to every detail. Marcus was on top of things from beginning to end and I would recommend your dealership and Marcus as a salesperson to all my friends and family. Thank you Motor Trends, and thank you Marcus... I love my truck.

Jodie's Hair Center Inc
Betty Hernandez has been cutting my hair since the early 1990s. I have very thin, fine hair, and she is the only person I trust to do it right. I moved away from Alvin 15 years ago, and have tried to find another stylist like Betty, but one does not exist! I am willing to drive for an hour and a half across Houston, just to have her cut my hair!
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
