Tom & Joe's Restaurant
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!Waitress was rude, not just to my party, but those around us.Unjustifiably long wait for food. It's breakfast foods, not fine dining.Nonexistent customer service.Owner allows it to happen, is just as bad, and offers no apologies. As for the food, there's nothing they could possible serve that would make dealing with all the horrible customer service and an owner who doesn't care about his customers worth going there again.I can confirm that other negative reviews people have given this place are 100% accurate. The owner replied to a few here and on Facebook. Instead of offering an apologize, he makes excuses and shows zero remorse for the bad experience others have had here.Thinking about getting breakfast at Tom & Joe's? Eat a bowl of cereal at home, wait a bit, and head to lunch somewhere else in town.Marzoni's has great food and a phenomenal staff.

Tim's American Cafe
I love Tim's Cafe, they have great food, and a lot of it, for great prices. Plus your meals are huge and will definitely fill you up. 5's, can't beat it.

T.G.I. Friday's
If your life is lacking drama...the sign outside states "Enter here" (at your own risk of course). My husband and I went to lunch today and witnessed the passing (firing) of another great manager. We have been going to this Fridays since it opened (back in the '90s). During that time, we have witnessed many managers coming and going, most recently 6 of them. Today was the final time that we will spend money with a company that can't get UPPER management right! This restaurant hasn't been able to get it right for a long time. Hence the poor kitchen staff (at times), the rampant and ambiguous rumours that are allowed to spread unchecked, without repercussion, as well as the drug use among certain employees. The manager that was terminated today was an amazing man who worked well with staff and they in turn were willing to work with him. Then, to top it all off as this manager walked out the back door for the last time, upper management (Joe) had the nerve to bring the new one in the front door in less than 5 minutes. Was this all planned? I'm sure. Does it suck? Yes. Is the staff upset (that it happens in the middle of the day)? Absolutely. I will not spend money in a place that de-values its employees as much as this one does. I will also make sure that everyone knows that my husband and I witnessed it.

We had a fantastic lunch here this week - their chicken-corn chowder was so good that I bought a pint to take home for dinner another night! The chicken-shrimp spaghetti was divine - a wonderful combination of flavors tantalizing the palate. Thanks SO much for lunch! PD
