To all you complainers... You gotta know Bob! He's a rough around the edges WW2 Veteran that's seen more, done more, pretty much experienced more than most of those that go in there ever will. Let me give you a little advice... do it with a wise guy RESPECTFUL attitude but give him a tough time and he'll actually appreciate that because he doesn't take B.S. and will actually like the banter. When I go in I actually say something like "got anything else but this junk for sale" to which he'll reply "oh, you... again, plan on putting a crowbar into that wallet and actually buying something today". He helped to defend your freedom... thank him for that. Most likely you'll end up leaving with more wisdom than you went in. He negotiate's on prices folks... if you don't like it negotiate it, that's the American way. Stop your complaining because you're not going into a 5 star restaurant where someone is going to kiss your a** for tips.

Cannot say nearly enough good about this shop. Bret took the time to help my 7 year old daughter and instructed her on shooting. Not only did he do what I could not ( with 7 years archery experience ) he got her excited in shooting. She now has her first bow and is begging to shoot more! Cannot wait to get her down there to work with him again, cannot say enough good about him, his level of desire to teach and the quality of this shop. Made a customer for life with my family and I. Thanks again Bret!

Employees are not friendly. They do not even seem interested in selling you a gun. I would not purchase a firearm here.

Most guns there are not for sale and the ones that are have outrageous prices. They have what they call their "museum", which just turns out to be guns you want to buy but cannot. The staff is very rude and make customers feel unwelcome. So, it's a gun store where the guns aren't for sale and the people are rude.

Terrible service, terrible prices.Don't bother going here. Staff is rude, unhelpful, and condescending. The one guy usually just sits on his laptop and ignores you, and is unwilling to discuss anything and answers curtly. I asked to look at a gun and was told "Not unless you're buying it." I have even purchased firearms from here before. Friends have told me similar stories. There is a large selection of military surplus guns, so I guess that's worth one star. Prices are awful as well, some ammo can be twice the price of other stores. Don't waste your time or money.

Long story short the owner of this place is a very disrespectful, degrading, pompous, bigot who told me "I was nothing" because I wanted to sell back a gun I bought FROM HIS STORE (it reads clear as day they BUY, trade and sell guns). I don't care how bad a day you are having you NEVER speak to a customer that way and I did nothing wrong. The prices are outrageous I ended up going to Wright Feed Mill in Claysburg (814)-239-2818 great people and prices (left this horrible store and went there and got my LC9 with laser for $345 Pioneers price was $499) so please shop around for best price. On top of that Field and Stream, alot closer, near walmart on Plank will price match (just ask as I did) and service is 1000 times better and an awesome store to begin with. And I doubt they will tell you you are nothing. One star (and not by choice)

Just a moment...
