Hector Pinero DMD
PATIENT REVIEW OF OUR SERVICES:"I went to Dr. Pinero to get a crown lengthening done on a broken crown. Dr. Pinero and his staff are exceptional. They accommodated me at very short notice (I was lucky that there was a cancellation). After a quick checkup Dr. Pinero agreed to do the surgery right then. It took about an hour, but I barely felt the time pass. There was no pain to be felt (the anesthetic was very effectively done) and only some pressure. However, Dr. Pinero was checking on me often, and making sure that I had no discomfort. The post surgery recommendations are working great, and I feelwell on my way to recovery. He is a very empathetic and effective doctor, and I am very glad he was able to do the surgery for me."

Terrible, this people only want to make money of you, that's all they care about. The assistant julio threatened me all of the sudden; he started talking that if one to sue a dentist, that will cost a lot, will require paperwork done properly, etc. Total nonsense as I wasn’t even thinking of suing anyone, forget about talking about it; he brought it up out of nowhere. For re-cementing crown on temporary cement they charged me $219. Dr Harrison told me that this crown is not good anymore, need to put in new crown at $955. I went to another dentist, who for $50 visit, showed me ex-ray and explained that crown is good, he can re-use it, but probably need a root canal, prescribed antibiotic to calm pain down while I am searching for root canal specialist. I then wandered why Dr. Harrison did not mention antibiotics, my friend told me probably he wanted me to go crazy with pain so I’ll pay him new crown. All this happens while you being in pain, btw.

Greenberg Dental & Orthodontic
This is by far the worst dentist I have ever been to. My children and I were treated like cattle. Every single worker was rude and just treated us horrible. We tried checking in on their system and our names had been passed over and we had to start this long process all over. Once we finally saw the dentist all would talk about is how bad my girls teeth were and sorry they will just have to deal with it because my insurance won't cover what they needed done and she walked out of the room and we walked out of the room confused and in disbelief. The only help we received was how to find the exit doors. Wow. I cannot believe these people are still in business. Their black uniforms made us feel like we were in a funeral home. Such a horrible, horrible experience. This is the Greenburg in Altamonte Great Pond dr.

Very Impressed with my experience at this location! I'd seen their ad on TV and since my previous dentist died suddenly, and I no longer had insurance AND I needed to have a tooth with a failed root canal extracted, I went there. Everything they say in their TV ad is true...free exam, free full mouth xrays, free copies of xrays and an estimate as to what I needed - extraction, cleaning, two cavities, etc. They were extremely fair about the extraction cost... it was considered surgical due to the post in the tooth but because it came out in five minutes the dentist agreed that the simple extraction cost of $130 was a fair charge - YES! Cleaning will be done next and a couple of tiny cavities and they don't hammer you to make an appointment either knowing that not everyone has extra cash for such care. Check them out. I do not think they are any more expensive than a private dentist (most are now being managed by management corporations and their prices have gone sky high to pay for those services so you've got nothing to lose,) and I think the care was very good!!

Went here as a new patient for a general cleaning and will never go back. Horrible experience. They over charge you especially if you have insurance. My general cleaning was 300.00 and I go to the dentist every 6 months with no issues with my teeth. They pad their tickets as much as possible and bill the insurance company in hopes of them paying as much as possible. Highway robbery. No wonder insurance is out of control. It's clinics such as this that overcharge for their services. If you go make sure you are very specific about the services you're in need of. I thought I did, but evidentally they don't ask you or get your approval for things they take upon themselves to do in addition to the service you request. Very displeased!!

Seems like the bad reviews for this place are issues between the patient and their insurance company. It amazes me how people know nothing about the policy they pay for. My experience here has been awesome. Dr. Gonzalez is very meticulous about his work and his team is happy to answer any questions you might have with either treatment or how your insurance works. I brought my 6 year old son in to have a extraction done and well lets just say he's not afraid of the dentist after having it done. Whatever the bad reviews about the staff from years ago I have read, they have obviously weeded those uncaring people out of this office. After coming here I have sent my entire extended family and they are all still current patients. I am happy to have found this caring dental home for my family and myself. These people are very passionate and caring for their patients!

Dr. Kingston is not only a wonderful Dentist, he is both fair and kind. I actually worked for him for several years when he started out. It's wonderful to see he is still going strong. Does anyone know if his Hygienist is still Bonnie Coniglio? email me. twns4evr1989@yahoo.com Thanks
Tips & Advices
Group counseling is when one or more counselors lead a group discussion, usually between five and 15 people. The group may focus on a shared experience or situation, and provide support and encouragement to the other attendees.
Each state defines its own requirements for what licenses and education are needed to be a counselor. It's common for counselors to have a bachelor's degree in psychology or a similar field, as well as a master's degree. After that, counselors should obtain their state license, and can move on to achieving other licenses like the:
  • National Certified Counselor (NCC) license
  • Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC) license
  • Master Addictions Counselor (MAC) license
  • Forensic Health Evaluators (FHE) license
  • Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) license
  • Certified Family Therapist (CFT) license
This all depends on the patient's goals and circumstances. Some people are happy with their results after just a few sessions; others continue to meet with their counselors for years. There is no right or wrong length of time to go to counseling.
Anyone can benefit from counseling services. Counseling can help you gain greater insight into yourself; deal with feelings of sadness, worry, depression or anxiety; as well as work out relationship problems, trauma or addiction. Not every type of counseling service works with every person.
Yes. Except in very specific situations, a counselor will never repeat conversations from a counseling session. Situations where information from sessions might be shared include:
  • If the counselor believes the patient might harm him or herself, or someone else.
  • If the counselor wants to get a second opinion on the patient's treatment. If this is the case, the counselor should seek the patient's written permission before consulting another professional.
