Plumbing Central
I called a friend for help with a referral Plumbing Central's name was given to me. I contacted owner Terry Davies, & 3 other companies on the internet. Got several high estimates, 1 well known company charged me a estimate fee! Terry came out to my house same day I called gave me a written estimate for half of the other quotes. I scheduled the work. He came out when promised finished in record time and left my yard almost exactly as found. Replacing the saved grass and washing away all the dirt! I was more than satisfied and will recommend Plumbing Central whenever possible! This company is a asset to the community!-G Musselwhite

Pete's Plumbing
Our water heater died. I called several places. Found Pete's online. They quoted me a price. They came the next day, first thing. The plumber was smart, neat , polite, and very experienced. Just what you need in a plumber! The price even came in $1.00 Under the phone quote! We are very happy. (This was also the lowest quote I got from anyone. )

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services
While we had no issue with the quality of work, we were shocked/disappointed to learn the cost to replace a sink garbage disposal - labor was 3 times the cost of the part and time on the job was @40 minutes to complete work. We will think twice before using Roto-Rooter again as well as recommending them.

Plumbing Central
Awesome company. I got a quote for a jobs . Their service was neat, and they found an unrelated leak, which was a lot of work to fix, but they did it within the price they had quoted me. Absolutely amazing.Doris D'Olivera
Tips & Advices
  • Are you licensed and registered?
  • Are you insured and bonded?
  • How many years have you been in business?
  • What, if any, professional associations do you belong to?
  • May I have a list of references?
  • Do you offer a written warranty for your work?
  • Will I need a permit for this work?
It is important to have a written warranty for any work or repairs done to the plumbing in your house, especially if it is a major repair. Look for a professional  who is willing to  stand by his or her work.
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
