Awesome body shop, highly recommended. I was treated first-class from the moment I walked in until the time I picked up my car. Chris Allen (estimator) was fantastic and kept me updated throughout the repair process. Rick Case Hyundai recommended Performance Collision and I am extremely pleased I chose them to repair my car. I will definitely use them again if I need my car's paint/body repaired. They not only repaired my car, but got it back to looking in showroom condition. A BIG Thank You to Chris and the team at Performance Collision.

Took my car to Mendez for repair and paint work and deeply regret it. I was told everything I wanted to hear by the owner Ezequiel up front. Arrived to pick up the car and found a disaster. There was no quality in any part of the job. Incorrect installation, missing parts, overspray everywhere- including all interior surfaces and terrible paint quality. He had nothing but excuses for me. I will be taking it to another shop to fix their mess. Several of the problems they created will never be able to be corrected. Avoid this shop like the plague!!!

I have used Performance Auto Colliision everythime my Z3 got bumped into over the years and they always made it look brand new! This time, the insurance co. saw it a different way (not to fix). I wasn't very happy but over the past 3 weeks, the guys at Performance helped me out huge! There wasn't even a fix for them to do, but they showed customer service like maybe I've never seen before. A sign of honesty and integrity which is kind of hard to find for a female in the auto world. Yes I not only recommend their skilled abilities with a car, but their sincerity the minute you walk in the door.I give them 10 stars......

Brought in a 2011 Infiniti g37 conv for accident repairs - they were able to take my car in to start repairs promptly. The finished quality of work was very good and didn't require rework. Rental car services are a building away so coordinating that is easy also. A very professional team and center!

I recommend this body shop to anyone looking. I got a same day appt and a price that beat all of the big name locations in the area. The work was fast and it looked great! I'll definitely use this shop if I need to in the future and will recommend it to everyone I know.

Overpromise and Underdeliver! This is what this company lives by. Over 9 weeks for repair. My MINI was delivered to them on 01/02/13 and returned 03/21/13. We had a 2 week delay because a previous hack shop was being back charged. I was told it was a 1.5 week job so i expected 2 weeks. The main reason for delay was Director of Operations continually pulling techs off to work on other projects. For the last 2 weeks I personally checked on the car every day and for a few days helped put it back together. I would have expected near perfection but i’ve already found 5 issues in 2 hours and the list keeps going.I’ve never seen an uglier case of poor customer service or lack of respect for a customer.
Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
