I will never do that again. This was the first time I cleaned my closets and didn't donate the items to savers or goodwill. The staff was less than polite and more concerned about their policies than customer service. I dropped items off at 3pm on Sunday and was told it would be an hour and a half wait for a quote, and that I needed to be mindful of their 6pm closing time. I assumed I could come back first thing in the morning for my quote. I came back within the first half hour of business the next day and was rudely told that they appreciate if customers return the same day for their quotes. I explained I had dropped the items off late in the afternoon and did not know it was a problem. The response was a nasty look at the ticket to inform me I had dropped items off at 3pm. That to me is late in the afternoon. We settled the transaction, I took the cash and immediately had second thoughts. I feel like the staff and franchise owner need to take a look at their business and realize that although I left with cash, it is not a one sided transaction that does not require good customer service skills. They gave me cash, but I gave them clothing in great condition that they will turn around and make a pretty good mark up selling. I think having merchandise dropped into your hands with little to no effort on their part deserves a little politeness. It makes me sick to think people dropping off clothes because they are in a pinch and need the cash will have insult added to injury by being treated poorly.
