Daves Custom Hauling
If the five stars don't say it all! Dave's Custom Hauling impressed me. People nowadays don't provide great customer service like they used to. Fortunately this business hasn't lost sight of what true customer service is. Thank you Dave's Custom Hauling for being so kind, friendly, honest, and prompt! Not to mention saving me some money! That is why I will continue to do business with only Dave's Custom Hauling! They did a great job and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

MCT Waste, LLC
I'm extremely unhappy with MCT. 2 weeks and they haven't picked up my trash. I'm supposed to be on auto pay and they didn't charge me and stopped my trash. Really I shouldn't have to baby a company once they are set up on auto pay! MCT is a waste. If they dont pick up my trash today I will switch to the alternate option. Especially after they told me they'd for sure be here!

L Mora Trash Hauling
Don't use L Mora Trash for your residential trash disposal. I called 3 weeks ago to get a new trash can a a recycle bin as we have recently decided to recycle. It took 3 weeks to get the new trash can which they brought this am with no recycle bin so of course I called for like the 5th time in 3 weeks and the rude lady who couldn't seem less concerned said that her guy had to go pick one up and would bring this pm (her guy knew for 3 weeks so not bringing this am when he picked up the trash and left the new trash can is ignorant and lazy). Then when I go outside later in the afternoon I see another can and I'm like okay cool it's the recycle bin so I grab it to take it up to the house and that's when I notice there is motor oil caked on my hands, dripping on the outside front of the can, caked on the inside of the can, and already stained and dripped the concrete in our cul-de-sac in front of our house where they pick up the trash. So I call clearly upset and again she's rude and says well let me call my guy, and puts me on hold, she comes back and says he is already in tijeras 20 minutes away and can't come back for 7 day's to pick up the dripping motor oil recycle bin and also mentions at that time that her guy didn't see anything. Im like ummm okay. So I tell her. Ma'am I can take pics and send them to you which I gladly did. So basically it gets to drip motor oil all over my cul-de-sac for a week. So of course I'm not okay with that and I had my husband call and she wasn't any less ride or unconcerned with him so ultimately we cancelled our service.

Albuquerque Solid Waste Dept
Albuquerque solid waste is a nightmare, Commercial service is sporadic & unreliable. The drivers come half the time and when you call in on a missed pickup the drivers falsely claim they picked up the trash. Supervisors, staff, and drivers do not take responsibility for there action or lack of. I suppose they know they are the only game in town.

L Mora Trash Hauling
I was a customer for 10 years, I was too lazy to change, and in that time I had to call almost every year just to get the bill sent. Typically I received it verbally and paid it over the phone. Their pickups are inconsistent, I have had to call multiple times through the years to get them to start picking up agian despite that I live on a main road here. When I called this year to cancel services, the owner's response was so arrogant, "I have thousands of pickups, I don't need you." If you want to do business with a company that has no concept of who the customer is, with horrible administrative practices that cannot simply get a bill mailed out, and a narcissistic attitude, this is the company for you.UPDATE, add unethical, I canceled my service on the 10th of June and receive a bill on the 22nd (for the first time in 5 years) that included the month of June instead of a prorated bill for only the first week although that was the week they forgot to pickup my trash.
Tips & Advices
The cost of trash pickup often depends on the size of the garbage container and whether the service is being handled by the city or a private company. The monthly rate for weekly pickup of a 48- gallon garbage container can run around $20 if this service is handled by a local municipality, while pickup for a 96-gallon cart can cost roughly $22. Rates are often higher when working with a private company.
A compost cart is used for the pickup of compostable items. The list of compostable items includes yard debris, such as branches and plant trimmings; a wide variety of food products, including everything from baked goods to poultry to fruits, grains, and sauces; non-recyclable paper products such as used paper plates and cups; and miscellaneous items, such as cotton balls, hair, and wooden toothpicks.
Trash should always be placed in a trash container when possible. However, if you have more trash than you're able to fit into your trash container, some trash pickup companies will accept the trash if it is bagged and placed next to the full container. Many trash pickup companies will accept up to five extra bags at no charge.
The most common residential trash container size is 96 gallons. A 96-gallon container is large enough to meet the needs of the average family, and it's generally able to handle weekly collection cycles without overflow. This is the largest residential trash container that a garbage truck's automated side loader can accommodate.
Paint cans should not be placed in regular trash bins. Paint and paint thinners can be hazardous to the environment, and these items require special handling when it comes to disposal. If you have paint cans that need to be disposed off, call your trash pickup company to make special arrangement to have them removed.
