Lohbeck Robert Don
MR. Robert Lohbeck was hired to represent my sister to quash a petition to establish parentage, Custody, Child Support and Visitations and proof jurisdiction belonged to the state of California. In a 15 day time frame from the time Mr. Lohbeck was hired to the hearing final disposition he worked day and night to include Saturdays and Sundays to ensure he delivered what he promised "he actually exceeded all expectations!!!" In our experience with Mr. Robert Lohbeck this is what I U.S.N. (Active Duty) Chief Marco Valencia here by state and endorses: MR. Robert Lohbeck has a work ethic that should be emulated by all and in my eyes he is the epitome of professionalism, His noted devoted passion for what he does coupled with his exemplary high level of experience enable a productive awareness creating dialogue between us and him in a manner that it was easy to understand. Mr. Robert Lobeck is cut throat clear and extremely straight forward his mastered ability to articulate his thought and points of view are key. He is honest and humble. He has the moral, courage and commitment that warrants honor this is due to his core integrity. It is my firm believe that if you are fortunate enough like my sister and I were to be able to be represented by Mr. Robert Lohbeck you should consider yourself and or family member blessed! In the event that you have to make any sacrifice to pay Mr. Robert Lohbeck take it from me make the sacrifice or as many sacrifices it requires and with no hesitation have Mr. Lohbeck represent you your family loved ones and friends as you will not regret it! Consider Mr. Robert Lohbeck above all others and choose him now! If you take anything away from my review take this: If you want an attorney that is: aggressive, deadline oriented, confident, subject of the matter expert at a fair rate that any case he touches regardless of the outcome know that the outcome will be the best outcome you can get as oppose to going a different route. Choose Mr. Robert Lohbeck as you are sure to achieve the desired outcome! Respectfully, Unites States Navy Chief Marco Valencia

Caruso Law Offices--West Side Office
We totaled our vehicle, and we were getting the run-around by Allstate. I talked to my sister who had used Caruso for her wreck and she was very happy with the results. When my husband and I met with Mark Caruso we were shocked at what we really didn't know about car wrecks. The attorneys and staff were really easy to work with, especially Marc Rushing. One time when I called them it took 2 days to get a call back, but that was OK. Most of the time I talked to someone the same day I called. Anyway, they would call almost monthly to see how I was doing, and they would give me an quick update. When it came time to settle, we actually got more money in our pocket than we expected. Our doctors gave us discounts from the amount owed to them for their treatment and Caruso Law Firm even gave us a discount on the attorney fee. It was all about having happy clients and referrals. I have recently recommended a friend from work to Caruso Law Offices.

Carian, Armand T
You can do so much better in a divorce attorney than going to Armand Carian. Here are some facts: (1) He sent an erroneous inflammatory letter without consulting me or notice to me.(2) He incorrectly sent my copy of the above letter to my ex-wife’s address.(3) He spent about one-third of the time talking about niceties of life. He charged me for this. I had to keep him on track.(4) His office refused to send me any monthly billing or statement of account and were rude about it.(5) Mr. Carian delayed about three weeks sending me a retainer refund although he knew I was in financial need. (6) He charged me for a consult for an hour he said was free that occurred over a year before I retained him. That does not seem appropriate.(7) When I got the refund, Mr. Carian’s check bounced. He eventually gave me cash but the damage was done.

Law 4 Small Business
Larry was great and saved us from what would have become VERY costly mistakes down the road. We'd been using an accountant to handle our LLC formation who it turns out wasn't very knowledgeable in this arena. They had advised us to register a foreign LLC in every state we planned to operate in - made sense, at least to people who have never formed an LLC before. Long story short, we stopped the formation immediately after talking to Larry as this turned out to be not only ridiculously costly, but entirely unnecessary. We then made the smart choice to let L4SB handle the rest of our formation needs. Couldn't be happier.

Caruso Law Offices
Caruso Law Firm really helped me with my car accident. First, got a free first consultation with Caruso, not just a paralegal. Second, he gave me a discounted contingency fee of 29%, alot less fee than the 33% most attorneys charge. Third, he referred me to doctors who would treat me on a lien and wait to get paid until the case settled. Fourth, he has a great staff of other attorneys, legal assistants, etc. Fifth, I got a good settlement and Sixth, I was happy. Highly recommend him if you have a personal injury case or car accident.

Caruso Law Offices
Helped me when I really needed help dealing with the insurance guy. Caruso has 30 years of experience, and used to be an insurance company lawyer. Glad he was on my side. Got me referred to a doctor who really helped me, and made lien with doctor to pay him when case settled. Didn't need any money up front to pay Caruso, and doctor waited until case settled. Gave me free consultation, then he agreed to reduce contingency fee to 29% instead of 33% that other lawyers charged. Good staff and offices. Highly recommend.

Caruso Law Offices--West Side Office
They did a great job on my car accident. Also, was able to get the 29% attorney fee when other lawyers were charging 33% That means Caruso got paid less, and I got paid more. Make sure that you ask him for the 29% fee when you meet with him at your first visit. Also, liked that he has been an attorney for 30 years and he used to work for insurance companies. He's now helping injured people against the insurance companies. I'd say that former insurance company attorneys make the best personal injury attorneys.

Larry was very helpful in guiding me on a small business dispute. He drafted a good document that met my needs. It wasn't nearly as cheap as rocketlawyer's $1 document that was just fill-in-the-blank not done by a human, but it was worth it for the knowledge that it was made for my situation, and I also got good advice by phone. He also charges by the 10th of an hour so isn't trying to rack up huge fees. He also answered his phone around 7pm on a Friday night to help me further. I would recommend this company.

Law Offices of Lynda Latta, LLC
My lawyer at Lynda Latta Law office is Brianna Feerer-Huss. She expressed nothing but empathy and fought for my voice to be heard in my hearing today. I felt like she really put herself in my shoes and understands the value in positive representation. Before she took my case, I felt alone and like my beliefs didn't matter without a lawyer. This case has been long, complex, and draining. Through it all she has showed great commitment and perseverance. I am truly satisfied with her time and services.
Tips & Advices
When it comes time to choose a lawyer, you should start by searching close to home. If you do have attorneys you are familiar with, ask who they believe would be best for you. After going through personal references - especially from individuals who had similar needs - you should broaden your search through public information resources. You can call your area's attorney referral service or check legal organizations like Martindale-Hubbell. There are other resources available online, such as yellowpages.com. You can check websites for client reviews and other third-party forms of approval.
If you sign documents and you come across a word you don't recognize, or you need help to navigate important employment or real estate paperwork. Also, during times when personal matters intersect with legal proceedings, you might need to have an advocate to prevent your emotions from getting in the way. If you've been accused of a crime or are in a terrible financial situation, you can find an attorney who will work with what you have available.
When you hire a lawyer, you're agreeing to work with someone over a certain period of time. The more forthcoming the lawyer appears to be with individual needs, the better.
  • You need to ask questions about how the attorney will communicate with you and what responsibilities you hold in the relationship.
  • The attorney should let you know the best channel for quick communication and you need to inform him or her when you want updates.
  • You should also ask questions to get to know the attorney as an individual in order to ensure this is a person you can trust. Ask about their legal philosophy and how he or she views the lawyer/client relationship. Ask as how to keep fees down or what daily disruptions you should expect from a long legal battle.
You need to ask about every possible fee that will come up when working with an attorney. You should request a list of all costs in advance so you won't be surprised by additional expenses like overhead. Also determine exactly when you will start being billed. You want to inspect paperwork carefully. If the attorney charges you for his or her experience, you need to make sure he or she will perform tasks personally and not hand it off to an assistant. Find out if the attorney has a flat fee or charges by the hour. Many civil lawyers work on contingency. Make inquiries about how the lawyer plans to provide service for your money and what you can do if you start to feel unsatisfied with his or her performance.
You can ask how many similar cases they have handled and if they have special skills or training that applies specifically to your needs. Lawyers can't mention clients by name, but you should ask for basic details about identical past cases. You should check their office for the appropriate certifications and diplomas. You can also ask how long he or she has practiced law and request information that demonstrates the practice's success. Look for precise details such as percentage of cases settled out of court.
