Pain Consultants & Intervention Edward Poon MD
Dr Poon has the most unprofessional staff at his front office. I received a bill in the mail for the1st time stating I had a balance over 121 days over due, yet I had not received any prior bill. When I called the lady at the front desk she kept sending me to voicemail....you cant even talk to the billing person. So I went down in person. Walked into an empty office and the billing lady said she would send me something she said she was busy so I would have to wait. Again the office was empty. I told her I want to take care of this immediately so she printed my bill. When I asked her to explain it to me she said that she would not. After several minutes of trying sit in her office so she could explain she stood in front of me and said I couldn't go in there. Although Ive seen her take other patients in there to discuss billing. So I left a message for the Dr to call me and from the looks of these comments he is going to be just as unprofessional. Left in tears and with them threatening to call cops on me because I wanted my bill explained. Isn't that their job?! Horrible service!

Lovato Eyecare
Terrible and expensive. In fact I paid twice as much for this eye care at Lavato Eyecare than I did for my prior eye doctor in Durango. They just want your money. It's cheaper for me to drive all the way up to Dgo, get more than half the price from a true professional for exam, contacts, & glasses (I paid over $1,000 for these same services at Lavato). And you get nice customer service as well as a lovely day in Durango to top it. Lavato even argued with me over the phone when I shared my concern about the high prices and wanting me to set up an appointment just for an evaluation before the actual appointment. There's other services in Albuquerque that I'm sure are much better in quality and price. Just don't let anyone treat you like a number.

Dr. Jose R Reyna Jr, MD
Dr. Jose Reyna is a wonderfully caring doctor- very professional. I have a ruptured disc at L5/S1 that was not showing on my MRI- was between the pics. My original doc did not offer anything but pain meds and physical therapy. Dr. Reyna was my second opinion and trusted that the rupture was indeed there and did a laminectomy. When he opened my back he saw the rupture and went ahead with the surgery. I got great relief and recovered quickly. It is easy to get an appointment with him and he is so kind. I would highly recommend Dr. Reyna for thorough care and professionalism. Thank you, Dr. Reyna!!

Albuquerque Urology Associates
Worst urologist I've ever been to. Unprofessional and condescending. Billed me over a year and a half after initial surgery and said it "slipped through the cracks.". Would never use them again.

Epoch Behavioral Healthcare
EPOCH is a company that is owned by an investment company. Therefore, don't expect anyone to really care about you. It's the money. My first visit was with Carol Schaffer. OMG! She's a nightmare! She rushed me through a 10 minute appointment. She gave me a script for pain meds and told me to go next door to their "pain clinic" because that's where they send all of their pain patients. Come to find out, it was just a ploy. Their "pain clinic" is actually to see an addictionologist who prescribes Suboxone. I'm not an addict! I can guarantee you that since EPOCH is owned by an investment company, they also have stock in the pharmaceutical companies that manufacture Suboxone! Also, watch out! If you're being prescribed psych meds, you could walk up to the door someday and EPOCH will be gone. The doors locked and shut! Then what do you do since it's taking so long to get into see a shrink. THIS COMPANY AND ALL STAFF ARE A SCAM! THEY NEED TO BE REPORTED TO ALL INSURANCE COMPANIES!

Carol shafer suggested that I reevaluate the profession I've had for 12 years because I have ADD. She lectured me on a medication I received from my primary, just overall very unprofessional, rude, and judgemental.

Dr. Derek Lines DDS
Totally botched cap replacement and cavity filling replacement. Rude and unprofessional staff. Stay away. Religion most important to his operation and making money on unnecessary treatment.
Tips & Advices
It's a good idea to have your teeth professionally cleaned before having them whitened, since cleaning can enhance your results. If you have sensitive teeth, using Sendodyne(a fluoride toothpaste), or a fluoride rinse in the two weeks leading up to your first teeth-whitening session will help you minimize or avoid tooth sensitivity.
Good oral hygiene is essential in keeping teeth bright following teeth whitening. This means flossing at least once daily, and brushing your teeth twice a day. Regular use of activated charcoal or a whitening toothpaste can help teeth retain their whiteness.
One potential side effect of teeth whitening is tooth sensitivity. Delicate gum tissues may also be irritated during teeth-whitening treatment.
Teeth whitening doesn't work on veneers, caps, and bonding. However, teeth whitening will not weaken these structures, and it may actually make them stronger.
Teeth whitening isn't permanent, and the whiteness can start to diminish in as little as a month. However, if you avoid foods that can stain teeth and practice diligent oral hygiene, results can last up to a year.
