All Eyes On Me Barber Shop
I want give a shout out to Terrance and JB (the owner) for hooking my grandson Tyzea up! We live in Santa fe and he was visiting over the summer from AZ, we couldn't find a barber that cuts black hair in town so we took to the net and found All Eyz On Me in Albuquerque. The shop was easy to find and they gave Tyzea the exact look he wanted. We were greeted with a smile, and JB even remembered our call (names). These guys are true artist! Terrance did the fade and edges, then JB the design ( not shown in pic). On the drive home we made it official "They are our new Barbers" when Ty comes to visit. Sincerely, Carla and Tyzea

Hot Heads & Cool Claws
My husband and I were extremely pleased with our experience at Hot Heads and Cool Claws. My husband gets his hair cut with Jason, the master barber, and has always left happy. One of the best things about his barber shop is how family friendly it is. We've been to several barber shops that I wouldn't even want my husband walking into more less my kids. Each time we've visited Hot Heads they've had family friendly music on and the conversation is always uplifting. We liked them so much that we followed them to their new location on Montano & 4th. It makes it very convenient to get my nails done while my boys get their haircuts. We make a family day out of it. I highly recommend them to friends and family.

Jesse's Barber Shop
Jesse's barbershop is a one of a kind shop. It's welcoming and will have you coming back after the first cut. Jesse can do literally any haircut/hairstyle you can think of. Best shop in town.

Pat's Cuts Hair Salon
I love Pat and her staff. She does a great job with my whole family's cuts and color. She's a wonderful person as well. Great price, and feels like your visiting your family.

Archuleta's Barber Shop
Faustine Archuletta has been cutting my hair since elementary school. I'm 39 now, and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Faustine is quick and doesn't waste your time, but you can get into meaningful conversations about the Denver Broncos, whom Faustine is a fanatic fan of. But he never loses concentration while talking--maybe the opposite. A master of his craft, I can tell him anywhere from 'the usual" to "keep it medium" or "chop it off for summer" and you get just what you asked for. Faustine's wife has a beauty shop next door, so it's a family business and can be a family outing where everyone gets their hair done. Prices are reasonable, and you're supporting local business instead of the bland corporate chains. You won't be disappointed.

Carlos' Blvd Barber Shop
I had to give one star because there isn't an option for zero stars. My first visit to this place was to get my two boys a haircut. As I sat patiently for 2 hours, NO JOKE, I watched a dude walk up to the door while the doped up midget beat him to the door, locked it, and turned the open sign to closed. I was like...that's cold. I just went back and had the same thing done to me! HAHAHA. I took my boys down at 5 pm and I guess the same midget saw me coming out of the car with my kids and he locked the door, flipped the open sign to closed, and shut off the neon open sign that was illuminated no more than 5 seconds ago. I looked at the hours of operation and it said it was open until 6 pm. Why I chose to go back here, I have no clue. Anyway, stay away from this dump. If you want a real cut within a reasonable time, go around the corner to ACE of FADES. Paul and Gabe will keep it going until it shuts down. Carlos' BLVD Barber shop is full of loud mouth, cursing, losers. Great place for kids, and women...NOT.

Carlos' Blvd Barber Shop
This is a real Barbershop, it isn't great clips or any of those other production line "salons"..... It is a "Barbershop where a Guy can go and get a nice styled cut. The Barbers will actually have a great conversation with you, not a odd uneasy silence when you getting a trim. The price is worth every penny. $13 for a nice cut, $15 for a razor cut and a very affordable $5 for Beard trim. If you don't like this place it is most likely due to you wanting some 18 year old chicks chest in your face. I left early this morning from Lubbock, Tx. today just so I knew I'd make it here before they closed. EXCELLENT PLACE!

Rudy's Old Town Barber Shop
I went to Rudy's 3 or 4 times. This is the location for the BS I went to as a child. Never did I ever get the same barber he could not keep his second chair barber.I received a different haircut every time. What made me change was that he would honor a veterans day discount. his discount was for the day people were given the day off for. I was there on Nov 11th the actual veterans day. He did not take down his sign advertising the discount and it did not have a date on the sign. When I asked for my discount he would not give it. I had just came from ceremonies at the VA hospital recognizing veterans day. Not only is it less than a mediocre hair-cutting biz, but rudy himself was incredibly unpleasant. The nostalgia I had for this barbershop of my youth was lost. I will never go this shop again. Everything about rudy's is cheap and un professional.

Just a moment...
