Little Sunbeams Child Development Center
My 5 year-old son has been attending Little Sunbeams since he was 1 1/2. I drop him off each morning and know that he will be well tended to and loved. I am so happy that we have a home at Little Sunbeams. We have made great relationships with the other families and the teachers. At each step of his development I can easily say that he was/is in a safe, age-appropriate, caring and inviting place for hands-on-learning and growth. He loves to go to school (Little Sunbeams) and has a variety of friends from Chef John, Brennan in the morning, the Dance teacher on Thursday, Tracey B, Pastor Greg and the Scott in Tuesday chapel, all the teachers, and of course his classmates - all who help form this rich environment. In the past 4 years the center has had changes in staff, as do all business, but I can honestly say that every person who has contact with us or with my son truly has his and our best interest at heart. Renee, the Director, and various teachers throughout our tenure have visited with us to be sure that we are all on the same page. If it is working together on potty training, sitting still in circle time, or how to encourage writing/fine motor skills or it is important that we are all working together for our children's development. Bumps, bruises and spills are inevitable and my experience has been that the staff err on the side of caution and often phone to ensure that a parent is properly notified of anything out of the norm while immediately tending to the child. There is always a written form documenting the incident. We have brought various concerns - either about something with my child or policies at the center- to Renee and/or to our teacher and have felt that we are heard and that we are working together to help my child be both a good little person and developmentally sound. Praise and love are apparent everywhere, but I also appreciate the boundaries and consequences when they are needed. We just received our acceptance letter from Manzano Day School for Kindergarten next year and are sad to be leaving Little Sunbeams in August, but very excited to know that he will be well-prepared for his next chapter in life.

A Home Away From Home
My children started at A Home Away from Home dDaycare as of March of 2012. I first sent my son at age 3. He has flirishedsince, he has learned his ABC's, 123's, writing his full name and is currently learning the states in Alphabetical order. I believe my son will be more than ready to start kinder garden this fall. I also sent my next son at the age of 6weeks, he is now going to be two years old. he loves to run to the door in the morning. I also have brought my youngest child a baby girl at the age of 8weeks old. I truly appreciate the care that A Home Away From Home provides for my family. They are a wonderful and caring Daycare. My children are treated as their own children when they are in their care. Their schedule is broken down and they are always informative of their daily tasks. I do and will continue to refer them to friends and family. Thank You Debbie Hadley

A Home Away From Home
My children attended "A Home Away From Home" Daycare for a little over three years. They both started at 8 weeks old and sadly I had to move. The daycare has a loving, caring sincere, and rewarding atmosphere. I had 100% trust in them caring for my children while I worked. They are like family to us and I appreciate all they did for my children while they were in their care. I would highly recommend this daycare to any parent trying to find the perfect fit for their child. They definitely top traditional centers and wrap their love for caring for children around any child they care for. I regret having to move but now there are openings for more children to be wonderfully cared for as mine were. We deeply miss them!!

Lyndon B Johnson Middle School
Beware of the assistant principal for special ed Jennnifer Montano she is a witch, she has a big time attitude, she acts like she doesnt even want to be at work like if she is working for free. I came to her with some thoughts I had about my sons program and what I thought would be great for him but she lashed out at me and went against me on everything that I had to say. She told me what was best for my son instead of letting me the mother decide what is best for my son. She has a big mouth and she needs to learn how to respect the parents and the parents thoughts and feelings. Don't even bother complaining to mr. bachicha the principal because he just defends her.

My daughter has been going to home away from home day care for about 9 months now and she loves it !! She has made so many new friends; she loves the activities and has learned so much from going here. I am at ease knowing that my daughter is in a fun, safe and clean environment . The times that the day care is open have been so convenient for my schedule as well ! Not to mention the cost is extremely affordable . I would recommend this day care to anyone; your kids will for sure have a great time here ! Amber

Little Son Shine Learning Center
I've been bringing my daughter to Little sunshine for about a year now and she loves it. The people there are friendly, very safe/clean environment, they prepare healthy home cooked meals there for the children, child: caregiver ratio is low, very reasonably priced, the kids have plenty of time to play outside in a nice shaded backyard and many of the caregivers are bi lingual, so my daughter is picking up spanish quickly. It's just a really cute and homey place. I highly recommend it.

Kingdom Builders Pre School
My experience with Kingdom Builders has been wonderful, and still continues to be. My daughter has attended here since a young age, and is now starting school. When be tested before enrollment the Kindergarten teachers commended me on my daughters advanced skills. I give credit to Kingdom Builders and the staff for helping her to succeed and giving her the tools to be prepared. Thanks to Mrs. Cynthia and the Staff.God Bless

A Home Away From Home
Home Away From Home Day Care is the best daycare in Albuquerque. My son and daughter have been going there for about two years and my husband and I could not be happier with our experience. I have always felt welcome and involved with how my children's day went. Honest, dependable and affordable . My kids are always happy coming home, and they cant wait to go back! We are so thankful we found them.
