They couldn’t help my sick son because they were too worried about his insurance & if he would transfer over to them. We agreed & then they asked what the date was when he was reassigned to a different DR because of insurance & we didn’t know that. So they turned down my 10 year old sick son because of his insurance. I guess they thought they wouldn’t get paid even tho they would. Also if they really wanted to find the date that my son was reassigned to a different Doctor then all they had to do was look at his file & see but they didn’t & turned him down. I should of known better to even think about bringing my son to a place like that where the wait times can be hours from overbooking, rude front desk & majority of the Doctors on the appointment side prescribe tons of pain pills & that’s prob one of the reason this county is the way it is. Also, I’m not just writing this because of them turning down my sick son when he needed Medical help but I have been a patient there for quite a while & seen how things run there. When I write this I’m being completely honest. Before you think about getting an appointment there, please be sure to call everywhere else first. Also on their Main Website: *Our Mission StatementIt is our goal to provide the highest quality of primary medical care based on the Christian belief that produced this as the standard for health care in these United States. . We seek to make our philosophy of practice a Christian one based on faith in Jesus Christ as He is presented in the Bible. This philosophy treats every single person as of immeasurable worth and of equal value as any other person on earth. And since our nation was established as a Christian nation, we are allowed to treat you exactly as we would the President of the United States if he were in our office to receive health care. This is our goal.My son didn’t receive any medical care and No, we wasn’t treated like the President Of The United States

Dr. Lachman is wonderful. However the office staff is very unprofessional. Dr Lachman gave me labs to have done and didn't input the diagnostic codes and therefore I couldn't have the labs done until I received the codes. I stopped by the office to try and have the situation fixed and the lady behind the window was very condescending, hateful and rude. She refused to help me at all and was very negative. I don't think a psychiatrist office should have someone like this working there because it's not good for the patients.

I went to my appointment last week at this office and it was very clear professionalism is not a priority when it comes to the staff. They refused to charge me my behavioral health co pay and instead charged me the specialist co pay on my insurance card. The lady at the window said, “I always charge people the specialist co pay, that’s the way I do it!” If you have seen behavioral health doctor in the past you know that the co pay for this type of doctor is different from a regular specialist. I brought my benefits up on my phone to show them and instead of adjusting the cost they argued with me and saw that it said a visit over an hour would need authorization and said that this visit will be over an hour so “you need to get us authorized.” They are the ones to authorize a visit not me. It was a disappointing experience. This office has been reported to the BBB and to the insurance company. BEWARE!

Dr. Willis is a fantastic doctor. He listens to you, and has a kind and compassionate manner. I would recommend this doctor to anyone.
Tips & Advices
Academic medical centers provide the widest range of specialty care treatments, including the latest technological advances, clinical trials, and surgical techniques. In general, an academic medical center is a better choice than a community hospital for complicated treatments or rare diseases. Pediatric intensive care, especially, is usually performed at academic medical centers.
Academic medical centers offer a broad range of specialized services, from allergists to urologists. Some of the larger medical centers have entire hospitals or clinics focused on a particular medical service, such as cancer treatment, though specialties vary among the centers. Patients whose community hospital or local doctors do not have the facilities or expertise to address complex medical conditions can be referred by their primary care physician or local specialist to a major medical center (there are more than a dozen in the United States).
Yes. In addition to their inpatient hospital services, medical centers can offer a wide variety of outpatient services, such as pain clinics, rehabilitation centers, surgery, imaging and laboratory, mental health treatment, and outpatient cancer treatment. Medical groups – doctors in private practice but affiliated with the medical center--will also have offices within the medical center.
Physicians, nurses, physician’s assistants, residents, and attending physicians makeup the clinical staff of an academic medical center.
Medical center accreditation is not required, but most centers work voluntarily toward accreditation because it represents higher standards of healthcare quality and patient safety.
