Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

One of our favorite spots in Downtown Albany! This place has an amazing brunch and free pizza with a drink purchase. If you live in Albany or the surrounding area, or are in town for anything, definitely stop in for food and drink.

Had a great Hollow Burger and beer with a large group. One of the servers really went out of their way to help our party of 7 settle in to a new table when we realized a band was about to start playing. Will definitely be back - a lot!

Great wings!! Ranked the top 2 places to get wings! My only complaint is that they don't have Magic Hat on tap!!! They need to get it because I would go down even more if they did! Other than that I'm pretty happy with the place...

Enjoy Lark Street but do not go to Lark Tavern. Not only are they overpriced, but their food was (to put it nicely) disappointing. The beer tasted odd... as if the cups had been "cleaned" in dirty water. The bathrooms were disgusting. Only one stall actually worked (and apparently it is BYOToiletpaper) The stall wall also had a light smattering of what appeared to be boogers. The clientele is a lovely misture of creepy old men and creepy older men, and the best part of this lovely gem was that as we were patronizing this establishment the owner called and had our car towed from their parking lot. When we asked for information about where we were towed he said, "I'll get that for you." He then walked into the kitchen and hid out there for the next hour without providing the information. I suppose I shouldn't be suprised at this considering what I've read about how the current owners essentially hijacked the space from the previous owner after a fire. So then I had to go to the worst neighborhood in Albany and pay $165 to get my car back from the junkyard where it was towed. The towtruck driver, who left big grease handprints on the interior of my Audi told me that Ryan, the Lark Tavern owner tows his customers all the time. I suspect he is cahoots with them. Afterall, I did spend more getting my car back than I spent on food and drinks. Perhaps Ryan should pay better attention the the cleanliness of his establishment and poor quality of his product than who he can tow.

The Playdium is a great place to go party or bring your family. The owners are absolutely fantastic and the staff is friendly. The bar staff is absolutey wonderful, and the food in the snack bar is delicious. The bathrooms are clean, and if you want you can do your laundry while you bowl or booze. The monday night Eagle II league is absolutely the best time ever for anyone who loves to have a great time and has an open mind.

We always make it a point to stop at W.T.'s or the Gingerman when visiting the Albany area. The staff and food is always great at both places. Not easy to do for 20 + years. The Gingerman stuffed mushrooms are the BEST we've had in our many travels and the wings at W.T.'s are outstanding. Great wine, beer, food and service. Both places are gems..

I've been somewhat of a regular here for the past year or so, and it's just the kind of place you want be a regular at. Great contrast to the try-to-be-too-cool dance club scene - much more relaxed. That's not to say it's boring; it's just a much better place to hang out and and have a few (and maybe a few more) drinks with friends, and before long you know half the people that frequent it. Great place, fun people, fun bartenders, two pool tables and two dart boards, two floors, great music, great people. What more could you ask for?

Ginger Man is at the top of Greenwich Ave, almost to the intersection of the Old Post Road (Route 1). It is a pub style restaurant, w/ a long bar when you enter, 2 floors (although I've never seen anyone upstairs), a fireplace in the rear of the place which is cozy during winter nights. This is a chain bar - there is one in NYC and Norwalk, CT that I know of. Both are good. There are lots of beers on tap. Many seasonal beer offerings. The menu has the typical chicken wings and burgers (both good) but also some unusual dishes that are worth trying: the salmon BLT is really good, plus the Buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. There are locals who sit at the bar during the afternoon & you can read all the NYC papers while sipping a beer and munching on wings. Also, you'll see business peeps from around the area here especially for lunch. Also great for kids & family: the staff handles all of these groups well.
1 S Pearl St
WOW! What an amazing transformation Savannahs has made in the past few months!!!! It's a great little place to have a cocktail that's a bit off the downtown beaten path. It doesn?t seem to attract the rowdy college crowd that most of the other Pearl Street bars are notorious for. The live music has been fantastic and the food is consistently good. Savannah's is the perfect place to bring out of town guests to get a good meal in a beautiful section of Albany while listening to great live music. It has surely earned its 5 stars.\r \r As for the previous post.... if you want free refills, go to Applebee?s. It seems as though that would be much more your speed.\r

Joe's has been in that part for many years now under new management (barbagallo's) it is still going to be that family grill around the corner! The great food and people will bring joy to the establishment. Under repair the hall new hall will bring great time and much family fun for futures to come. Good luck Joe's on the ave!
I came across this place while in the Albany area on business. It might not look like much from the outside, but inside is a classic old time bar area with character to spare. I got a friendly greeting from Barry the baretender and settled in with a fresh Guinness. The real surprise here, however, is the food. \r \r Plenty of surprises on the menu, from the casual pulled pork sandwich and Asian style wings, to the Carpetbagger filet mignon stuffed with fried oysters and served with awesome garlic mash and a chipotle bernaise (!). I ended up eating here every night of my stay. \r \r Open mic on Tuesdays and a great happy hour. If you're looking for a fun place with a mature and professional crowd and great food, seek this place out.

Bar is small and usually for large events there is one bartender...club side usually open on weekend and the sound system sucks cant hear the song all you hear is the bass...bartenders are good if you are a regular because the same ones are always working...owners are amazing but the one white haired manager isnt so friendly...otherwise the only other good gay club besides Waterworks right across the street.

The people that work there are weird! The bartenders kept staring at me and my friend the whole time before one of the bartenders took our drink order which was over priced. Plus, there was a bad smell coming from the kitchen.

After spending close to 200 dollars at this place in a couple hours I go outside to smoke. I go to come back in and the communist bartender says I was too intoxicated. So I go up to him and say ""let me approach you like a gentlemen, why can't I come into this bar?"" he then grabs me by the throat and throws me onto the pavement. I woke up at 4 am in the hospital with a neck-brace on and a hefty bill. Thank you red square for being yourselves. Useless, overpriced, roadhouse enthusiast, overzealous fascists.I have three witnesses and I hope this place goes under forever.
