Owner very unprofessional. Took car for repairs, had it two days, picked it up and broke down not even 4 hours later. Would not reimburse me fully for tow to his shop because I didn't "shop around". Many more shops in town that will stand behind their customers.

A friend of mine was robbed by this man and his business. He put a junk trans in her vehicle and is refusing to make it right and told her to take it into the courts. He has no business ethic, and therefore, should not have a business

The building is unappealing. The entire area stinks to high hell. If a business doesn't take time to bother with appearances, I don't trust them with my vehicle.

Well, I paid $1,700 for a new trans and it's bad. I've taken it to the owner repeatedly and he tells me it's something different every time, except for the first time, when his employee told me "I checked everything that could be making it stall and everything is good. I put an additive in the trans, that may fix it, but if it doesn't than it's a bad trans".Since then that guy had been fired. The owner has come up with excuse after excuse after excuse to not validate my ONE YEAR warrantee, even though I started bringing my van back shortly after I got the trans. One thing he keeps telling me, over and over and over, is that a trans can't be the cause for stalling, but I've asked SEVERAL other mechanics and each one says that is just not true. The owner is a con artist, and just plain cold hearted. I told him I'm a widow, he has seen my young children, and I even told him my income is limited as I live off of my Husband's Army pension. It's not like I'm asking for anything besides what I paid for. He doesn't care at all. He's very rude and has come up with several reasons why it's my fault. The guy is a plain liar, and told me I will have to take him to court because "he's not going to warrantee it", but I thought he did that when I bought the trans?I have recordings I will put links to once I get them on YouTube. It's insane to listen to this guy talk in circles and use semantics to try and con a woman out of her money.

Tips & Advices
Yes, most roadside assistance coverage plans offer towing services. There might be certain restrictions, however. For example, the plan may only cover towing services for a certain number of miles. Drivers should check with their providers for details.
Which cars are covered depends on the roadside assistance provider. AAA services are available to members and not specific to any vehicle. As long as members pays their dues and have their membership card on hand, they can use AAA for someone else's car. Generally, auto insurance plans cover the car itself, not the driver, so people can't use their roadside assistance for another. However, details vary between providers, plans and local laws. Drivers should consult with their insurance providers to see whose cars are covered.
Roadside assistance coverage varies depending on the provider. However, they generally include:
  • Tire change
  • Battery jump start
  • Towing services
  • Locksmith service
  • Minimal mechanical labor
  • Delivery of oil, fuel, batteries or other parts
If a driver has a flat tire and no spare, roadside assistance services can deliver a new one. However, these services will not pay for the cost of the tire. That will be the driver's responsibility. Based on the location, some will tow a car to a tire dealer.
Most roadside assistance plans offer gas delivery and service. However, clients are generally responsible for the cost of the gas.
