Comfort Dental
This place is fantastic!!!!I went today for the first time, and could never have expected the service I received today.First, I was there for what I thought was some pretty serious work and some discomfort. Since I had the last appointment of the day, I assumed I would only get to do my exam and initial x-rays today and would have to wait for the rest for a few days. The dentist really took the time to listen to everything I had to say (about my dental issues :-)...) and then took a lot of care in examining every tooth and my gums. They took a lot of x-rays (they advertised $19 for x-rays and exam, so I wasn't thinking they would take like 18 of them) and after looking through everything, he let em know that I didn't need most of what I was thinking I was going to need. Not only did they save me money on treatments, but some of the things I thought would be done would have come with lifetime maintenance, and instead he did something considerably less with immediate results that would not need maintenance as well (saving me in the future). He then said that he could do the work if I wanted it done today (even though he clearly knew it would keep him there past closing). Dr. Warchol and his assistant Elizabeth cheerfully stayed and got the most important work done today and did an amazing job, stopping my pain immediately (except for the novicane shot) and it looks really good. I have yet to find the kind of quality and service I found here anywhere else.I am thankful for everything they have done thus far and would recommend them to anyone asking and will to everyone I know. They were well above expectation in every area and fun to be around
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
