I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for helping me last week. I had come to Texas from Illinois to take a job in the oil fields of West Texas. Eight days after starting the job the project was canceled and everyone got laid off. As I left Pecos Texas I had a flat tire. I was able to repair the tire continue my trek back to Chicago. About 16 miles west of Colorado city my alternator went out. It was 9 o'clock in the evening and I was able to get a tow truck to take me into Colorado city and deposit me at the local auto parts store. I spent the night at a local motel and in the morning was able to buy a new battery and wanted to buy a new alternator. I was informed that I would have to wait a day or two for an alternator for my vehicle as none were available anywhere close. I made the decision to try and make it to Abilene on just the battery and to see if I could find an alternator there. About 30 minutes from Abilene I was taken aback by the thought of not finding a reputable mechanic to install my alternator. So I prayed and got the idea to call a local Assemblies of God church and ask for a recommendation. The woman at New Hope Assemblies of God told me that a member of their church named Bill was the best mechanic in Abilene. I called the number she gave me and the young lady at your shop took my information and told me I was about 20 minutes outside of Abilene and she would call me right back. She informed me that she could have an alternator waiting for me when I got there and it would all be taken care of. As I arrived at your shop and filled out the information for a new customer sure enough an alternator was delivered by a NAPA representative. Within 15 minutes one of your mechanics remove my old alternator replaced it with the new one. I paid the bill and was on my way. This is been the best experience I've ever had with any mechanic in my life. I'm seriously thinking that the next time I need service done to my car I'm going to drive back to Abilene!Thank you again!Chris FoxRockford, Illinois
Purchased our Dodge Caravan yesterday, after several weeks of shopping online and personally. Salesman, Mr. Vonn Marr, was exceptional in answering many questions over this time period (about several vehicles) and from start to finish, was never pushy; was always patient; very personable; and just a very nice gentleman to work with. LaDonna, the financial representative, was the same way in that she presented various offers but didn't try to sway me one way or the other. I did not select 5 stars for price because I wanted a little more for my trade in, but they did increase their offer a little, after the initial offer, and equally important, they did decrease the price of the vehicle we bought at the very beginning - indicating their willingness to negotiate and make a sale if at all possible. We will definitely return to Lawrence Hall when we are car shopping again.
drove my truck in for front fender repair and pushed it out because a broken starter???walked in to see 4-5 guys leaning on my truck and parts thrown in the back like it was used for parts pick up.starter cost me $200.talked to mr. gibbs himself but mr. gibbs didnt work on my truck. i know mr.gibbs knows how to start a pick up anyways.the repair on my fender was so beautiful,my truck was even washed and tires blacked.still i give this place 5 stars but a -$200.00 star to the heavy handed hearing impaired gorilla who started my truck.

Very impressive service! I admit that I was one of those annoying customers who called probably way too often to check on the progress of my car, but they were very kind and never acted like I was bothering them. They were always very truthful with the timeline, and never exaggerated just to get me off the phone. This is how every business should be!
I pulled in there today, a traveler in distress, and these guys were totally awesome!
