The beginnings of discount retailing can be traced to 1962, the first year of operation for Walmart in Rogers, Ark. Walmart features a grocery store, garden center, portrait studio and vision center. It provides a selection of pharmacy, entertainment and household products. Its household products include bedding, flowers and plants, lamps, and bedroom, office and kitchen furniture. It provides a range of jewelry, such as bracelets, rings, watches, earrings, pendants and necklaces for all occasions, including weddings and engagements. In addition, it offers personal care products, pet supplies, sports-related items, toys and electronic items. It specializes in camping, hunting, fishing, boating, and exercise and fitness equipment, such as skates, bikes, scooters, treadmills, weight benches, elliptical, coolers and tents. It has one of its locations in Williston, Vt.
