Service

The ONLY reason this gets 1 star is because of the maintenance staff and the amenities. Unfortunately the parking and the leasing staff make it undesirable.

Parking is terrible AS A RESIDENT, I have had to park at the front office outside of the gates and walk with my child to our apt 3 buildings away. There's about 10 visitor parking spots in the complex and charge you for a parking pass for your family visiting for 2 days.

The leasing staff unprofessional.

I found around $200 in fraudulent charges to my account. Pet fees when I don't have a pet, multiple application fees, admin fees, utility billing start up fees, all that were caught by myself. If you already live here...please take the time to LOOK at what you are being charged, I have ABSOLUTELY no doubt in my mind that I am not the only one they are charging false fees.

Overall

Spring Water Apartments was THE WORST renting experience we have ever had.

During our time as residents we had multiple issues with the office staff. The office staff consists of a bunch of unprofessional idiots. They were rude and incompetent. We should have know there were problems in store because Jenny, one of the office staff, messed up our move in date. We were told we could move in at 5pm the day before our lease technically started. When we arrived with packed cars and friends to help move the office was closed!

We also placed multiple noise complaints regarding an incessantly barking dog and nothing was ever done about it. My husband went up to the office to make a formal complaint and was told something would be done.. nothing ever was. I work nights as a nurse and they were anything but accommodating to my needs. The office manager, Gabrielle, actually told me that my hearing was "too sensitive." In so many words she pretty much told me to suck it up. The other option would be us moving to another apartment in the complex. I didn't understand how these "solutions" made any sense since we were the ones being inconvenienced by the annoying dog! I contacted upper management and never heard back. Obviously they care about their residents..

The initial neighbors we had across the way were the worst neighbors I ever had. It took having a couple of ragers and the police being called for them to finally get evicted. At one of their parties, one of their guests puked all over the stairwell, hallway and over the balcony onto the second and first floors. Their guests also left black and mild stubs and smashed glass beer bottles in the parking lot. Classy.

One time we let the office know about a green bean casserole that was dropped on the stairs around Thanksgiving... someone came and cleaned it up 2 weeks later....It was gross and embarrassing-never mind dangerous!

The problems continued to haunt us when we moved out... we requested multiple times to have a walk through of our apartment and the office refused. Our carpets were in great condition. I steamed cleaned them periodically, spot treated stains regularly and vacuumed once a week. We do have a cat but she's an indoor only pet. We paid to have our carpets professionally cleaned at move out time and yet "the cleaning was not up to their standards" and proceeded to deduct 130.00 from our security deposit! That's BS and shady.

Spring Water should have wanted residents like me and my husband instead they treated us like crap and made everything an inconvenience. I can't recall one time where I had a positive interaction with the office staff there. Every encounter was frustrating. The apartments are overpriced and a hassle. Save your money, your time and the headache and don't live here!
