Breast Augmentation
There are actually a variety of techniques for breast lifting. But a lift is not augmentation. Keep in mind that this procedure lifts breasts to a higher position but will not increase fullness. To increase fullness, a combination of a lift and breast augmentation with implants should be considered.
Breast Reduction
Breasts that are too large can affect your self image and can lead to physical pain interfering with an active lifestyle. Breast reduction surgery, or reduction mammoplasty removes excess fat, glandular tissue and skin to create a more proportionate breast size. Dr. Carney utilizes the vertical technique with a minimum incision, reducing or removing the need for an incision under the breast.
Breast Lift
As women grow older, the effects of pregnancy, nursing and sheer gravity take their toll. A breast lift, or mastopexy, can raise and reshape a sagging breast providing a higher, more youthful appearance.
Rhinoplasty
Usually, rhinoplasty procedures are done under local anesthesia with intravenous sedation. Some patients with more extensive airway problems may require general anesthesia. Rhinoplasty surgery takes approximately 90 minutes. More complicated reconstructive procedures may take longer.
