WTOL is the CBS local television affiliate that provides news, programming, entertainment and information to residents of the greater Toledo, Ind., area. The station, which broadcasts on channel 11, began operations in 1958 and serves viewers in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan from its studio in Toledo. WTOL is owned by Raycom Media, one of the largest broadcasting companies in the United States. Raycom owns and operates more than 50 television stations in nearly 25 states.
