Richmond Diner

The only reason I gave this diner one star is because zero wasn't an option. I'm am also not rating it based on their food dur to the fact that I left before I had the opportunity to eat what I had ordered. I requested a specific waitress and since I was alone, the host seated me in the counter section. The waitress I had requested took my order and brought my drink. It was at this point that the owner/manager started to berate and belittle this young woman. What was even worse is that he did it out in the open, in front of all of his staff and the customers in that area of the diner. I was always taught to treat women with respect. This is someones daughter, sister, mother and/or wife. I am sure he wouldn't be happy if someone spoke to his daughter, wife or mother in the fashion and tone that he spoke to this young woman. It was at this point that I decided to leave. I refuse to give business to someone who is unable to treat someone with basic human decency. Being the better person, I still paid the bill because the food was served. Never again will I eat at this place. Overall, the experience was horrible. I really hope this person learns how to treat others, especially those working hard to make his business a success.
