        I would not recommend this doc...

        I would not recommend this doctor. I might sound disgruntled..but that is not the case. I am more appalled.
        I had brain surgery due to an aneurysm in Nov 08 and found Dr. Perel in my coverage book. I needed to follow up with a Neurologist post surgery. I was going to him for almost a year. During this time they told me they were going to order an EEG test which is a brain wave test. I am experiencing..memory loss..concentration loss. numbness in fingers .etc. Each time I asked when I was to take this test...they said they would call me. They proceeded to put me on anxiety meds. still no test. a member of his staff asked me why I was having so many problems because she had an aneurysm and wasn't experiencing these problems...How dare her compare her surgery to mine? I then confronted the doctor as to what his staff said and he became defensive and yelled at me and got up and walked out of the office after I suggested I go elsewhere. and also replied "what do you want me to do, I said I was sorry". Extremely unprofessional.I since then found a new doctor and have discovered (in the first visit) all my symptoms were due to mini seizures and I am now taking the "proper" medication. I do not have anxiety. I have a real problem !...seizures!...I do not recommend this very arrogant unprofessional person...who I would not call a doctor..in my opinion !
