Mini Movers Inc

I recently hired Mini Movers to move me from the Hartford area to the Rapid City area, this move had to be done in a hurry and included some things that were very important to me and could not be easily replaced..they came immediately for the estimate and were very reasonable, this was not the first estimate that I had gotten, but when the timing was so crutial they could do it in the necessary time frame. the first day there were many crew members there and some worked harder than other, on the second packing day there were only 4 members.they were remarkable..they really busted their behinds to get me done. When the 1st truck arrived it was full, they wasted no time getting the truck off loaded.nothing was broken.the second truck just left moments ago, and again, they wasted no time, and nothing was broken.. including my "baby" (my motorcycle). I will recommend them over and over. thank you Mini Movers fore the job that you did for me, and the care you used with me and my items.

Two of the crew were great, the rest were not. They broke several things. Item I told them were fragile, were tossed around like they were not and consequently several items were broke. Broke a $600 dresser, antique dresser, one of the deck stairs at our old house (dropped something on it), and glass items. One worker had a bad leg and stood around most of the time yet I still had to pay $40/hr for him to be there. Another guy did a lot of work, but complained the whole time. When we initially called we were told they would move anything we wanted. On move day we were told they will not move our TVs because they didn't want to pay for them if they broke them. If the rest of the crew would have been like the two great ones this review would be a lot different. These two workers were courteous, careful, and they did a lot of work. If I could get just these two I would recommend. I have not called about the dresser so I cannot provide feedback on their service after the fact.

Our moving experience with Mini Movers was terribly stressful and something we wish we could do over with a different company. The company promised the job would be done in 3--4 hours and it lasted close to 6 hours. The crew on the job threatend to walk off the job because as they told us "our move was very difficult." We moved from a four bedroom home to a five bedroom home. Give me a break! The crew also left boxes at our old house that should have been loaded onto the moving truck. Thank goodness we moved within Sioux Falls, so we could go back and get the boxes left behind. Everything that was moved into our new home was stacked from floor to ceiling in the family room. We also found out that our couch was damaged in the move. We were left disappointed and disgusted with our moving experience with Mini Movers of Sioux Falls.
