Framing
Danny’s Construction Company placed over 10,000 tons of steel on the massive Iatan project. Our work consisted of erection of structural steel framing on the existing Unit 1 Boiler to support the new SCR and the new Unit 2 Boiler structural steel framing, grating, handrail, metal deck and coal silos.

New Construction
Pat’s career with Danny’s began in 2007 in our Idaho office where he honed his estimating skills and helped manage a range of projects across the state, then relocated to Cedar Rapids, IA where he managed the construction of a new Federal Courthouse. Becoming a member of a team to manage a complicated build of a new vertical lift span over the Mississippi River in Burlington, IA in 2010 proved to be a pivotal moment in Pat’s career, as this is where his interest in building bridges was piqued. Through the years he has worked with a range of customers to add value as a construction partner, providing planning and construction services for many large structural steel projects including the Baudette – Rainy River International Bridge, the T.H. 43 Winona Bridge Rehabilitation, T.H. 53 Relocation Project in Virginia, MN and the Mall of America Phase 1C Expansion Project. Pat graduated from Minnesota State University – Mankato where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. When Pat’s not working, he’s a father of three boys and enjoys spending time hunting, fishing and trap shooting.

Landscaping and Fencing

Walkways
The new $125 Million, 264,000 sf facility in downtown Minneapolis is now the new home to Thrivent Financial’s Minneapolis Headquarters. Located at 600 S Portland Ave., the headquarters is an 8-story office building with an elaborate steel staircase, architectural steel awning, and suspended walkway. The headquarters is connected to the downtown indoor walkways with a new skyway bridge. In total Danny’s erected 1800+ tons of structural steel and metal decking.

Decks
Danny’s Construction Company completed a temporary bypass bridge to help the motoring public get to and from San Francisco from Oakland, California. The bridge was used to re-route traffic so the new permanent San Francisco-Oakland Bay bridge could be completed. The project consisted of five spans of double deck truss bridges. Each span is about 250 feet long and carries five lanes of traffic in each direction on two levels of bridge decks. The job consisted of approximately 9,000 tons of structural steel and a weekend roll-in to final position.
Residential Roof Repair
Assistance in the installation of the ETFE roofing – installing both ETFE pillows and components on each purlin prior to erection to accelerate ETFE installation in the air.
Residential Roof Replacement/Installation

Electrical Work
Furnish and install 12 new battery powered maintenance travelers on the suspension spans, including electrical work and multiple charging stations.
