The Finance Department is a part of the city of Santa Fe, N.M. It provides financial services to the city administration and maintains financial records. The department maintains an administration division that looks after accounting and purchasing sections. Its administration division also operates budget, utility customer service, cashiers, payroll, accounts receivable, and cash management and investments sections. The department s accounts payable office is responsible for making payments for various goods and services used by the city. Its budget section prepares an annual budget for several other departments. The department has a finance committee that reviews development agendas and forwards them to the city council. The Finance Department is located in Santa Fe, N.M.
