        After moving to San Antonio ...

        After moving to San Antonio and surprisingly unable to find a good authentic Mexican restaurant, we stumbled into Guajillos due to a wrong turn on 410. It was the BEST driving decision I've made since being here, because this place GETS IT!!!! I believe the family is from Mexico City which explains the originality of the menu that is probably a rare encounter. The food is AWESOME, the service is average and the drinks were not too shabby (Jamaica-Me-Crazy in particular). I now have the perfect response when asked by others, "Where is the BEST Mexican food in SA ?" . As opposed to the norm and often franchised concepts around here, this place is definitely SA's best kept secret that SHOULD be told!!!
