Chippewa Cleaners

Took a dress in that I thought was beyond help. American Cleaners down the road wasn't able to revive it. Thought I'd give Chippewa Cleaners a try. They got the stains out and it looks great now! I have since been going to this cleaners and my items look great have been ready on time. No real complaints. Service is okay, no frills. Better than the teenagers at American Cleaners. Highly recommend if you want quality professional cleaning.

I have never been so disappointed. The lady that runs the store is very rude. She lost two of my shirts. When I asked to speak to manager she said she would give him my number. He never called. I am assuming there is no manager now and she is the owner. I checked on my shirts at the 2 week mark they were not there. She kept telling me she needed more time to find them. Then it was over 30 days and still no shirts. Then she said since it was over 30 days they were not responsible. Total BS. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau. I hope they close her down for her lack of professionalism, her rudeness and her ability to provide some type of replacement or restitution for my lost shirts. I would not recommend anyone go to this cleaner.

I've been a loyal customer. They are a family run business for over 20 years now. I don't go anywhere else because they are more concerned about quality than those coupon clipping dry clean businesses. The mother is the only employee. That's pretty rugged since she is open Monday-Friday from 7am-7pm and Saturdays from 8am-5pm! That's a lot of hours for one lady. Sometimes her kids occasionally help out.



She washes spots with lots of different chemicals at least three times. She told me that I should never use water to wash out a spot, otherwise it makes spot removal difficult.



So there's always a risk that comes with spot removal because sometimes it just can't be removed. But if it doesn't come out, you can't expect to not pay for the chemicals and labor spent in trying to remove it.



I would recommend this dry cleaners any day.
