Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Round Rock

I would advise people to stay as far away from this place as possible! Incompetent business office staff that lose patient payment information and blatantly admit it. Incompetent staff on all levels, sheets were rarely changed, towels and wash rags not available at times, pains meds were rarely brought when requested before therapy - that is if you could figure out when therapy was to happen!!!! If you care for your family DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE! Incompetency is the main product!

Day 1: On Tuesday after my doctor referred me to PT and had this place listed on options for locations I called to make an appointment. They asked me to fax my drivers license, insurance card, and Dr Referral. My fax cover sheet clearly stated my contact number at work.



I never heard back from them, but that night when I got home there was a message they wanted my husband's (insured) date of birth.



Day 2: On Wednesday morning I called and gave the date of birth and again asked that they contact me at my work number which was given to the person on the phone to log into my file.. Again no return call.



I called them at 4:30 pm on Wednesday again asking for when I may make an appointment and was told to call back in the morning between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m..



Day 3: Still trying to get an appointment, I called and got no voicemail and no answer at 8:38 a.m. Called back after an hour and was told they'd call me later today. I asked what number they had to contact me at and again they gave the home number and not my daytime contact number. Again I gave the person on the line my work number.



About an hour later I received a call from someone at the Rehab hospital asking for more details of my insurance to which I let her know it was too late, I'd already secured an appointment with another location for my Physical Therapy needs. They'd lost this patient.
