Discovery Point Roswell

As the Director of Discovery Point i feel the need to correct my centers reputation. I would never allow my staff to be disrespectful to any parent. Every center has a daily sheet that tells about your child's day as well as always receiving feed back from the teacher.There will also be times that you drop off and pick up in the same spot but every child is rotated every 15 minutes to different equipment as well as free play on the floor equipment with friends. This parent wanted us to do things that are against state regulations ex. place child in crib with blanket and bottle. At no time will I ever allow my staff to go against a Bright from the Start regulation as that's where the statement about living to your standards aroused from. If you find a center that is willing to go against a state rule then you might want to reconsider sending your child there. My teacher's remained professional during this whole ordeal. Discovery Point wishes this parent the best on her journey and are apologetic on any bad feelings she as with us.

I wouldn't trust this center to watch the fleas on my non-existent dog. The teachers are horrible and the directors allow them to be. They do not communicate with parents about what their child does throughout the day. They believe that giving a list of changed diapers and feedings are enough communication and that comes via a piece of paper. During our first week there, I picked up my child and his face and hands were different with food from a feeding an hour prior to me getting there. When we dropped off on two days that out my child in a swing and when I came to pick him up he was in that very same swing. When I made a complaint to the directors, the teachers then began to ignore me all together. I could walk in the room, gather my child's belongings, and leave without one word being spoken to me. Needless to say the we no longer attend that center. . . barely lasted the two weeks that we were there and am still working to get our child back to his normal behavior. And the best part about it is, when I gave notice they told me that they hope “I find someone that lives up to my standards.” Get real! This place is a joke and if you value your child you would not place them in this center at all! Run away please!

I like Discovery Point. The center is clean and bright. My son enjoys attending the after-school program. The staff is friendly and efficient.

I read over the other reviews and I totally disagree w/ the other parents. I say please go to Discovery Point yourself to gainan appreciation for the center. People are quick to write negative reviews. So I wanted to express how pleased I was with the center.



Before starting my current job I worked in the child care industry and had the luxury of bringing my daughter w/ me. So I was very selective when choosing a center for my child to spend 8 hrs a day. Discovery point has a very inviting feel and employees. I just love Ms Jessica, Ms Courtney, Ms Tiffany and Ms. Amber!!! In the preschool 1 rm. When Aila started attending in June she took to all the teachers straight away. Which made me very comfortable.



Every morning when I drop her off she is happy to read her book or play w/ blocks until the day really gets started. She never cries at drop off and loves being there. That in itself is all the review I need. Listen to your children.



The only negative is the price... I would love to keep her there but I can't afford it :o( I can go on and on about Discovery Point. It's clean, the children are happy and the staff is amazing. Im sad to leave.
