Star City Security

I had taken a Private Investigation class at PSS Range & Training and did not learn hardly anything and wasted a week of my time and my money. I was recommended to go to Star City Security so I finaly did. I learned more in the first 2 days there than I did at the other place in a week. Star City has all the new high tech toys that a PI needs in todays socity and teaches you how to use them. The have a brand new hight tech classroom with all the bells and whistles for a lessor price than anyone else in the Roanoke area. Their instructors have over 40 years experience in private investigations so they know what they are talking about when they teach you. The PSS instructor told us durring their class that they had never done and invetigation that they just teach the paperwork part of the class. At Star City we actully went out in the field for training. I highly reccomend this company and their training to anyone. In the class I took we even had local cops taking the training.

I don't know what class you went but when I went in June the unarmed class was a full 18 hr class. I also was taught things that I didn't have any idea was so much in security than just having job. You are taught to be a professional at all time. Thanks to the instructor now I know much more about security.

I have taken an unarmed class there and it was a full two days. I also learn alot about security. The instructor was very knowledgable about security. I am going to take my armed class there also.

I have took two classes at Star City and they both were outstanding. Very knowledgable instructors. Recommend to all.

Being a woman living here in Roanoke and working late nights I feel the need to be able to protect myself. I recently took a carry concealed weapons class over at Star City Security. Rick and Ken were super to deal with and VERY knowledgeable about firearms and the laws. The class was very informative. Their training facitly was very impressive.
