        My husband and I went to this restaurant on Veteran's Day. My husband is a World War II veteran and is 91 years old. We go every year on this day. This waitress, Christy, asked my husband for his military I.D. The only I.D. World War II vets had were their dog tags. No other waitress asked anyone else for military I.D. Before we left, a navy veteran sat right across from us. He also had Christy, but didn't have to show any I.D. I think it is awful of this waitress who wasn't even born when my husband served his country to ask him for I.D. What a dishonorable thing for this waitress to do. Totally disrespectful to a World War II veteran. I commend Renton Applebees for honoring veterans, but they need to teach this waitress spome RESPECT!

        Good for Families

        We had a family dinner their with kids. It was very good and a good selection of food for children. I especially liked the spinach salad. It was very good.

        Great lunch - less than great service but other servers stepped up cheerfully. Pleasant server, he just forgot requests.

        Soup (chicken noodle) was too salty. Better to be able to add since you can remove it once it was added.
