Grand Peking

I had lunch at the Grand Peking in Redmond today and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the almond chicken - fried with almond gravy and topped with almonds (they serve it both ways - stir fried and deep fried). It was a generous portion of chicken and it came with BBQ pork fried rice which consisted of brown rice with egg, diced green onion, slivered carrots and diced BBQ pork. The meal was well under 10 bucks and was quite tasty. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good. The meal also came with soup which was also pretty good as well. I would recommend this place for anyone who likes American style Chinese food; trendy-yuppie types might not be too impressed with it.
