Child Support
As with legal custody, it is most often the case that both parents will have an obligation to cover their child’s expenses, usually in proportion to their incomes. That obligation is converted into child support most often through the use of an algorithm developed by the State of New Jersey known as the Child Support Guidelines. There are many factors that go into the calculation of child support through the Guidelines, including the income of the parents, the visitation schedule, costs for health insurance, costs for daycare, support obligations for children of only one of the parents, and numerous others. This can be difficult to navigate without a professional’s help.

One of the most challenging aspects of a separation and divorce to consider is child custody. When a relationship dissolves and there are children involved, custody becomes one of the most paramount conversations. Child custody laws in New Jersey are centered on what will be best for the child’s well-being, but this isn't an exact science. So, how is child custody determined? In several ways. Premarital Agreement
If you have entered into a prenuptial agreement that you believe is unconscionable, either because the other party lied to you or unduly pressured you into the agreement, it is possible to have the agreement vacated. Mr. Mann obtained his J.D. from Rutgers Law School, in Newark, New Jersey in 2019 and has been a member of the New Jersey Bar since 2019. While at Rutgers Law School, Mr. Mann spent a semester working as a clinical intern for the Rutgers Law Child Advocacy Clinic, providing representation to children in child abuse and neglect cases in Essex County and in administrative hearings and proceedings regarding public benefits, education, immigration, medical and mental health issues. Mr. Mann was also elected as the Treasurer for the Jewish Law Student Association during his time at Rutgers Law School.
