        Overall

        I have a Honda HRV that was experiencing transmission problems and I was getting mixed messages from the Honda dealerships. I was recommended to call Gil at Dauntless for his advice. Even though I was not going to take my car there, he was so helpful and full of information that helped me to understand the way forward on my car - the kind of information I was not getting from Honda. If you have transmission problems, go to Gill! Thanks, Gill for all of your help.

        Gil & Max Gutierrez, Dauntless Transmissions made sure that I received the best service advice and support offered from the very first phone call to them. Previously, I received a diagnostic recommendation from another shop that I needed to replace my failed transmission with either a remanufactured unit or a used unit. The quote was several thousands of dollars. I decided that another opinion was needed from someone specializing in transmission repair and selected Dauntless Transmission. Gil explained in detailed how he approaches verifying a transmission problem before making any recommendation or incurring any cost. His recommendations made technical and logical sense as well as business sense to me. What Gil found was that a drive axle was incorrectly installed causing the transmission to become disengaged. He suggested that I return the vehicle to the service shop that had performed this service for a warrantee repair; therefore, I saved the needless expense of replacing my
